One can only speculate!
If it's cos Of Joey Barton; good choice.
If it's anything other, personal/Family - good luck to him

His family is based in the north. he was working in Bristol. Probably worked when they were at Fleetwood, but I can see why personal reasons fueled his exit. But Clint remains pretty unproven as a coach - what has he achieved? I think his next move needs to be as a lower league manager or working with someone other than Barton. We also do not have any vacancies at present. But I wish him well because I think he is a decent guy, unlike the colleague he has just left behind in Bristol.

Bring him back here as a coach. I think our coaching staff are doing just fine at the moment. If it ain't broken don't try to fix it. Otherwise good luck to Clint on the personal front.

From local news here in Brizzle: Joey Barton says he is "gutted" following Clint Hill's departure from Bristol Rovers. Barton confirmed after Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Stevenage the assistant manager had left his post, with the club later releasing a statement citing "personal family reasons". Hill was absent from the touchline on Saturday, with Andy Mangan and Kevin Maher supporting Barton in the technical area. Barton told reporters at the Mem: "Clint had a family issue before the Mansfield game and asked for some time off. Subsequently, after that time off, he has decided he can no longer continue. He’s got to go. "It’s tough when you lose good characters and good people like Clint. It leaves you a bit short in the coaching department, and when it rains, it pours. "The main thing is that Clint’s family is safe and secure and everything’s good there, and we have to respect that.
