Transfer Market website is of course very subjective (and always incomplete). But it does provide useful data, for example, when players contracts terminate.
The valuations are 'interesting', showing if a players value is in decline or appreciating.
For example, we bought Dykes for £2m and his value has gone up 50% whereas buying Bonne for£2m has seen a decrease in his value and we only signed him on a perm in January, presumably due to international clearance delays.
But it is also a guide to the value of players who we are said to be interested in.. There was a suggestion that we may have been swapping Bonne for Dozzell, and yet Bonne's transfermarket value was twice that of Dozzells.
It would have meant a substantial write off in our accounts as well because if we bought for £2m in January and sold for less than a million in June then we would have had a six months hit of £1m. Probably the reason he is being retained...for now.
The 4 players we have already signed this window had a combined TM valuation of £4.7m for their respective clubs - but obviously we did not pay the £1.8m for Austin, but no doubt he picked up a big signing on fee instead.
Johansen is valued on the site at £1.8m as well.

It also serves as a reminder of the task ahead for next season.
The equivalent Fulham team valuation of £183m - compared to QPR's £22m valuation

Obviously, the sites have not been updated for the recent activity, but some sobering thoughts before we get too over excited about our chances.
Some of the valuations are way out of touch - but if the one for Seny is correct, there is no way he is leaving us this window!
