Took a while, but finally announced today as Bournemouth's new manager. Typical football story - Fulhan wanted rid of Parker, Parker wanted out, Bournemouth wanted Parker. Fulham did not want to sack Parker and pay compo, Parker would not resign and lose his pay-off, Bournemouth did not want to pay compo. We will never know how it was resolved, but at least it is now sorted and Fulham can appoint whoever they have lined up. The bookies favourite is Chris Wilder, but not sure that he would be a good fit - he does not like any interference - the problem that Parker had there. I would think though that Johansen would be the sort of player that Wilder likes. In the meantime, Jorge Grant at Lincoln appears to be heading for Peterborough - I think we would be keen if we miss out on Johansen or were to lose Chair, but time is not on our side with that one.

I think I've resigned myself to not getting Johansen. If the new manager likes him and, having seen his performances last season, why wouldn't he, then Fulham have the cash to persuade him to stay.

Marco Silva has gone to Fulham as the new gaffer.
