Brentford 2-0 up at HT, will they reach the promised land at last?

With Fulton sent off on 65 minutes, it's a mountain for Swansea now.

Well deserved, maybe that will be us in a couple of years.

Yes, thoroughly deserved, as painful as it may be for our fan base.
On a positive note, it shows that success is possible doing it the way they have been doing it for years, so thereâs hope for us.
Having a striker as lethal as Ivan Toney helps too, of course!

Well done West London! What with Chelsea too, hopefully, next season QPR and Fulham can add to that dominance!

Two bob on that they will only stay up one year. There not Leeds. They may surprise a lot of people. And they have an ex Leeds skipper and a coach with a very similar mindset to Bielsa.

Yeah I agree Nomar but our fans always give it large to them so we wind them up quite a bit. In all fairness what they have done over the last 5-6 years is very good and what lots of Championship clubs should striving to copy. Still wouldnât mind them coming straight back down though đ

I bear no animosity towards Brentford whatsoever. They've done everything right in recent years and they're now reaping the rewards. I have no doubt that they will deal with it way better than our botched attempts so good luck to them.

I think most QPR fans would agree they have done things the right way for a Championship Club and deserve there moment of glory and no team could screw up as badly as we did when we gained promotion for sure. However, bottom line is they are still Brentford

Remember a successful means of getting into the Prem from the Championship is no guarantee of success in the Prem. It's a big step up and the team in the Championship won't keep you up. The Bees will have to bolster their line up. The usual mercenaries will be circling. It will be interesting to see how they do. My guess is they'll be back in the Championship sooner rather than later.

From WLS. Enjoy your time in the spotlight Brentford. It won't be long!!! www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/brentford-troll-qpr-fans-and-austin-on-twitter-after-promotion-triumphBrentford troll QPR fans and Austin on Twitter after promotion triumphBrentford have ribbed neighbours QPR on Twitter after winning promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history. The Bees, last in the top flight in 1947, went up by beating Swansea City in Saturdayâs play-off final at Wembley. The clubâs Twitter account has since aimed digs at Rangers fans and Charlie Austin. Dubbed a âbus stop in Hounslowâ by some Râs supporters, Brentford have been savouring their recent success. And they were quick to remind Austin of a sarcastic tweet the striker posted after they lost to Fulham in last seasonâs play-off final. Austin also celebrated in front of Bees boss Thomas Frank after scoring QPRâs winner against Brentford last season.

Well if the bus-stop losers are trying to troll us they better remember that in 1967( was it) we almost took them over. I went to look at their dump ground at the time and thought what a shit hole place! Lucky we did not take them over, and despite their change of venue, the whole area is still a dump. And a solitary season in the Premiership ain't going to change things!
