Hard to see clearly. Presumably, he is charged with stamping. If proved that is a 3 game ban for violent conduct isn't it?

But charged and so guilty unless a successful appeal - seems unlikely even if the footage is not 100% clear.

I have watched a recording of a live stream on large screen and it is pretty clear. Seconds before the incident Charlie had been pushed over from behind by the Forest player and the ref who was close did not give anything. Both got up and the struggle for the ball continued and the Forest player fell down. Charlie had his back to the Forest player who was on the ground and kicked backwards with one foot striking the man on the ground around the neck to head area. The ball was in front of Charlie so there was no reason for him to kick backwards other than to hit the man
Guilty as charged I'm afraid even though it was probably retaliation/frustration. The ref again should have seen it and Charlie should have been sent off although given some of the other ref decisions he may have got away with a yellow and this charge could not have been brought.
Looking on the bright side as we are safe he can have a bit of a rest and Dykes or even Kelman can get a run.

Calibre of refereeing in all leagues below Prem to me is barely adequate.

"Not me Gov" said Charlie
"Oh yes it was" said the FA ( they are right)
3 match ban and I do not think he can complain about it.
Interesting point is that the club would often fine a player for this sort of thing - would we fine Charlie and risk upsetting him if want to try to keep him? Can we actually fine a loan player? Maybe we ask WBA to refund a bit of the loan fee........
For tomorrow I would experiment with Dykes and Kelman as a 2 up front with Chair sitting in behind them. Move Willock back to wing back, get Field back in midfield with Johansen and hope De Wijs is fit or play Kakay at the back
