Overjoyed with the result - always good to beat my neighbours. We played well and deserved it. A couple of thoughts through the victory glow though. The current / new manager at Watford is pretty unpopular already. He has got results despite his management performance I am told. Yesterday, the Watford set up was all wrong - it was as if they had never watched QPR play. They allowed us to get on the front foot from the off and they let us play our own game. He did not pick wide players but instead played Will Hughes, a great box to box, out on the left - they were very narrow. Our full backs have been woeful, but they were invited to put in cross after cross and slowly but surely both grew in confidence. Warburton had one of his best games, every substitution worked for him, including putting Willock on to play wide and torment. By contrast, every Watford substitution worked against them. When Hughes was replaced, they lost what little energy they possessed. Friend of mine texted me before kick off and said that if the game goes like other home games, QPR would dominate, Watford would smother, then Deeney would score the inevitable penalty. Watford to win one nil. There was a point last night when I was incredulous. Blackburn will be very tough. I have seen them play a couple of times recently and they are bang in form with Bradley Dack back from injury. A draw would be a decent outcome, but please do not lose at home Rangers. But 10 point from the last 4 away games feels realy nice.

Willock has that unteachable ability to cross from the end line, similar to Dave Thomas hopefully.
Todd had a huge game on both ends, but defenders will absorb crosses into their front from 20-30 yards out easily for the most part, but are twisted around with those from the bye line. Vice versa for strikers of course.

That win with the 90 minute winner left me elated for the rest of the night and even the next day. I have tons od Watford supporters in mob family who KNEW Watford would win 2-0.
Haha, that type of local derby restores my confidence in QPR. By the way, anyone remember how we got Charlie Austin in the first go around? Wasn't he an amateur? or worked in moving and storage?
Im sure thats wrong,

Im sure thats wrong, I think he was bricklayer whilst playing for Poole Town Harry, then went Swindon before Burnley picked him up. But I know he was banging the goals in for Poole and that’s when spotted by Swindon. Hodding in the day , Heading at night 😊

From what he have witnessed of Cool Hands Seny, his heart rate did not change and Deeney received the 1000 mile stare at most. (Paddy Kenney on the other hand might have sorted this out in the parking lot or an abandoned industrial park)

I picked that out the video highlights , he said something along the lines of pick that out you C—-. I couldn’t be clear if it was Deeney that said or a different Watford player. Karma for the Hornets

Karma for the Hornets Yes, Deeney sledging Dieng after the penalty, but Dieng's goal clebration after our late winner was so funny, He ran around Deeney with his arms stretched in airplane mode - loved it!

Just watched the highlights. If I hadn't watched the game live, I'd have thought we never set foot in Watford's half until after they scored the penalty!
