They now have approx six weeks to change the pitch from artificial to grass!
Or should that be turf?
I was asked by a friend if the EFL & Premier banned plastic pitches because of Queens Park Rangers. I replied that would have been due to Luton & Preston being inferior to the carpet at Loftus Road!

Built on a synthetic matting with natural grass on top. The roots of the grass knit around the matting to make the grass stronger and the matting keeps a flat playing surface. Thats all approved and recognised by the FA FIFA etc. I think Wayne Rooney's bum-hair transplant works in much the same way...

Apparently they are going to start the season playing their home matches in Doncaster. Hopefully they can get themselves sorted before supporters are allowed into grounds.
