www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-qprs-scowen-set-for-move-to-sunderlandSmith may not now return to Man.City as a consequence. Shame, I always rated Scowen - great ratting. QPR’s Scowen set for move to Sunderland By David McIntyre 27/01/2020 Sunderland are set to sign Josh Scowen from QPR. The midfielder, 26, has made 96 Championship appearances for Rangers since being signed on a free transfer after leaving Barnsley in 2017. He was a key player in his first season at Loftus Road but has since struggled to hold down a regular place and has been out of favour under boss Mark Warburton this season. Scowen’s expected departure and Nahki Wells’ season-long loan from Burnley being scrapped mean plans to end Matt Smith’s loan spell will now be reconsidered. Smith has been unable to make an impact since arriving from Manchester City, who have been intending to send him elsewhere in the coming days.

Now official.
Good luck Josh & thanks for your efforts. I assume this is why he wasn't involved on Friday.

...I'm sure he will get that at Sunderland and will probably do very well at a league lower. Until August, when there's a good chance he'll be back in the Championship - and will probably score against us next season! Surprised we've not been able to find a place for him, he's a decent player who'll always put in a shift.

I hope it had nothing to do with the abuse he apparently received on social media by a small minority of so called Rangers fans Always gave 100% for the R’s - I wish him all the best at Sunderland

Not sure why Scowen got abuse , should be shameful giving him abuse, certainly never deserved. I always hate it when we lose good players that love the club and always give 100%. Doubly gutted this week to lose Scowen and Wells but wish them both well in their future careers.

Scowen has re-signed for Wycombe. Good signing for Gareth. I wish him well - I liked his ratting for QPR. Surprised that he is only 28 though.

Every team needs that person whose sole purpose in life is to get the ball back and pass it on. His last goal for us (Against stoke I think?) was superb. I wish him well too.
