Six changes, but I wouldn't describe it as a weak side!

Swansea pull one back 3-1
Scorchers have lost some good players (Shaun Marsh and Nathan Coulter-Nile for instance) and have AJ Tye and Jason Behrendorff out injured Kent

Swansea pull one back 3-1 Scorchers have lost some good players (Shaun Marsh and Nathan Coulter-Nile for instance) and have AJ Tye and Jason Behrendorff out injured Kent they seem to get off to a good start whenever I watch them then keep losing quick wickets and struggle to either set a total or fail to chase down a total

2 of our Academy players came on for the finale of the match. Methinks our best FA cup 3rd round for ages.

Cracking performance again - it could have been even more than five. Great assist from Bidwell as Bright robbed him. Swansea were pretty poor and obviously short on defenders with Bidwell playing centre back. They had no height up front until their triple substitution. So Masterson and Cameron performed with ease. Kane is still a worry when defending but fine coming forward. Bright was just amazing again - as was Chair. Probably, the softest ref I have seen for a very long time, even Hugill won fouls - he blew for any slight touch. Thought Ball and Scowen were great ratting today. Scowen's finish was very good for his goal. He deserved that. But we just kept winning the ball off Swansea and we were so on top. The Swansea goal was from a long way out (again). We have had little luck of late but 11 goals in 5 days was just brilliant, but we faced 2 pretty inept keepers in those games. But, yeah, very pleased tonight - but it was bloody cold there today.

Just back and delighted to see so many youngsters getting a game. There must have been something in the air on NYE as we effectively picked up where we left off against Cardiff. This with a number of key changes to the team yet we played with pace, enthusiasm and plenty of skill. It was a great shame the crowd was so low.
We mustn't get ahead of ourselves, these kids are still very much in a learning phase of their career and 3 of our goals were the type that on other days don't go in but watch them again, I will be!
There will be games when the ball doesn't run for us, games when we lose when perhaps we should win. But keep some of these lads together then they will grow and flourish and surprise a few along the way.
One swallow doesn't make a summer but some of these young men are very exciting to watch and are so far removed from the mercenaries we employed a few seasons ago.

I'm so pleased for all of you that went today.
I just hope that we've left a few goals available for the next two weeks!

It's wonderful seeing our younger players perform without fear & so entertaining watching Queens Park Rangers play this season.

I was really happy to see Dalling come on, I have watched him in a couple of U23 games and he looks a real handful. Paul Hall is doing a brilliant job for us.
