Flashback 3 Years www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/marc-bircham-departs-loftus-road/I guess this wasn't unexpected - happens with most managerial changes. Still does concern me to see more 'QPR people' leaving the place - know it's not the be all and end all but it still feels a shame. Glad we offered him another opportunity to stay on. Thanks for everything Birch... because your rangers through and throuuuuugh.

Reading his leaving statement, he knew he was leaving and took it in a very classy way! ...
As Olly.. can leave with his head held high.

Think it is the wrong decision for him and for the Club.
New broom sweeps clean and all that but why does it always tend to happen at football Clubs?
The CEO leaves a company and normally doesn't take the finance, HR, sales or marketing director with them. Yet in the bubble of football this is the norm.
Birch could have learned from McClaren and Co to better himself. Birch could have continued to add the necessary bite and 'in your face' attitude important in this division.
My viewpoint has always been that Ollie and Birch were just too similar and had the same strengths but alas the same weaknesses. They both didn't have to go.

You'd be surprised, I've seen it happen on a number of occasions. Certainly PAs often go with them from company to company.
