Amos would be good imo especially if we play him a bit more forward - but 2 potential problems - 1. can we afford his full salary? 2. Trying to do a reasonable deal with Levy is like hitting your head against a brick wall. Could end up as a new loan but then others may come in for him on a permanent deal. Let's hope to keep him and keep some continuity in the squad.
Re Hugill - had to laugh when I saw that rumour. No way can we afford his salary and no way he would drop into our salary structure. Plus West Spam will want to recover a chunk of his transfer fee so we will be out of that picture unless an Eze swap came into play. His WH days are over unless they get relegated and they have to offload their current players but there will be other clubs out there looking at him - decent strikers are a rare breed these days and he has proven that he is a good front man at the Championship level even if he misses more chances than he should. Click bait imo.

Some thoughts on Hugill from Claret & Hugh website:
Might be amenable to a switch, though not sure we could afford those wages + transfer fee...

Some thoughts on Hugill from Claret & Hugh website: Might be amenable to a switch, though not sure we could afford those wages + transfer fee... Sounds more like a thank you and goodbye from Hugill rather than a come and get me call. Plus if we were negotiating to take him why issue his goodbye statement now. Realistically if the numbers quoted are correct, and I suspect they are, my opinion in a previous post that we have no chance of signing him - even on another loan. While being a little surprised that we paid that much for him this season I think it was money well spent. We were squeezed during last summers window and ended up desperate for strikers and had to pay the price for Wells and Hugill. I say it was money well spent as despite the talent of Eze and co without those 2 strikers we would be in the First Division now. As I said previously get Keiffer Moore signed up quick even if we have to pay a bit extra - he will be cheaper than 20k a week for Hugill.

Let's see how long they can stick to their guns. Will be interesting to see hoe Eze reacts if those offers don't come in. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-ebere-eze-20m-price-west-ham-260720222?utm_campaign=shareaholic&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=socialnetworkQPR tell clubs Eze will cost at least £20m By West London Sport 26/07/2020 Embed from Getty Images QPR have reiterated to clubs that Ebere Eze will not be sold for less than £20m. Rangers want a bidding war beginning at that amount and expect Eze to be snapped up this summer. For some time their position that any club unwilling to pay at least £20m would be wasting its time making an approach. West Ham and Crystal Palace have made enquiries about the 22-year-old and been given that message. Other Premier League clubs have informally asked about Eze in recent weeks and been told the same. Eze has scored 14 goals this season and been outstanding for QPR in the Championship. He has a year remaining on his contract but Rangers have an option to extend it by 12 months, so he is effectively under contract until 2022. West Ham have indicated they are interested in a potential deal to sign Eze but are also keen on Brentford’s Said Benrahma.

Yeah, I'm interested to see who blinks first on this and why it is so important we have more than a couple of clubs involved in the bidding. Eze's reaction is definitely a factor like you say. If it goes on and clubs drop out of the bidding and Eze has a strong preference for a particular club come the tail end of the window, I suppose that could force our hand e.g. say he fancies Spurs and they low-ball us with an offer sub 20m + loans but Eze and his agent are set on going there. Cos like it or not, his value drops significantly if he doesn't go this window. Tricky one, real test of resolve for the club.
