Don't know if he means it, but sensible sounding
BBC - Lewis scotches Posh exit rumours
Peterborough United goalkeeper Joe Lewis has said he is not considering leaving London Road at this stage of his career.
The 21-year-old has recently been the subject of speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.
But former Norwich stopper told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I wouldn't see the point of going anywhere just to sit on the bench.
"I'm playing regular football at a good standard in League One."
Lewis has been an ever present for Posh since making the switch from Norwich in January and is in the England under-21 squad for the friendly with the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
"It's always nice to be involved and hopefully I'll get a few minutes on the pitch and some more experience," said Lewis.
Peterborough have kept four clean sheets in their last five matches in all competitions, and Lewis feels he is currently playing at the top of his game.
"I felt a little dip in form and maybe confidence earlier in the season, but I feel like I'm through that and playing much more how I should be at the moment."
