Agree with all that Harr and if we have saved the salary of Austin Green Sandro JET and maybe Phillips (plus the other younger ones we have sent out loan) we must surely be able to take a gamble on Roofe from Oxford. His reputation is growing so he will only cost more or be gone elsewhere if we wait.

That move fell through for Odemwingie Ashdown , now on his way to meet up with JFH after we let JET go on loan

Huws in for Henry or Faurlin and Kpekawa in for Konchesky I cannot see Henry lasting past this season (even if that long) and I wonder if Faurlin is in JFH's long term thinking. His contract was just for the season and there still seem to be some doubts about his knees being cope with playing week in week out - pity. Where is my right back though and why are we leaving it so late again - probably means we need people out first before any come in.

Decent player at Championship level, happy with that if it happens. I think Huws will come in even if none go out. If JET goes out on loan we might even see another forward in. We need Palace to take Green and let us have Gayle on loan for nothing as part of the deal Palace love taking our players.

Gayle would be nice as a short term fix but "it ain't going to 'appen"
Pardew is talking about McCarthy going back to the Championship on loan to get some games and get his form back and that he wants to keep Speroni as back up to Hennessy so I'm can't see Green going there - but then who knows;

Rob Green...
West Ham - definite no-go according to Sky
Palace - will take Green if they sell McCarthy to Fulham according to WLS

Now I see no reason not to lone JET to MK Dons. Unfortunately I can't see anyone being sold. If the West Brom/Phillips £8 million bid was true, I can't believe they didn't at least try to get it done. Still time, but with WBA signing Pritchard, it seems unlikely. Too bad, because I think that move could have moved us out of FFP trouble.

Complete silence on any move for the "much in demand 10 million" man Phillips?! He is worth nowhere near that , how did we turn down a supposed £6m , his lack of effort and body language says it all , I'd be gutted if he stayed

Yup, Philips is desperate to go.
Would like to see him and Green off the payroll as of tonight - even if we bring no-one else in.
If not, well Greeno will just sit out his time.
But Philips has 18 months is left - will he play out of his skin to show the Prem how good he is? Or will he sulk and actually not be that bothered?
I suspect the latter...

Leroy Fer to Swasea City on Loan for the season, wonder if that will mean a bid for Kemar Roofe or this lad Huws from Huddersfield/Wigan??

I just hope if Fer and Phillips do go, we replace them in the next few hours even if a loan.
Our squad will be thin without JET ,FER AND PHILLIPS and we dont have enough points to stay in this division yet.

Phillips efforts will drop even further if he doesn't get his move tonight !

Caulker has 2 more years to run until Summer 2018 Fer and Sandro to summer 17 one year each after loan.
So a great fix to get them off wage bill but need to get rid permanently really.
Very concerned about how light we are, dont firget we have three players on the books who never even play and are poor, Diakite,Gobern and Traore....
Need a couple of quality bodies in , not rubbish.

Very sad to see this from Austin. If he wants to send Fer a personal message that's fine but putting it on Twitter for the world to see before the deal is complete is out of order and only an insult to The R's and the fans who have supported him.

Our squad will be thin without JET ,FER AND PHILLIPS and we dont have enough points to stay in this division yet. If Fer has gone we have saved some money and created space in the team for Chery and or Washington plus the new guy from Burton to get some play time. No sign of Phillips going - if He starts to sulk even more he should be dropped and let's play 4-4-2 JET - was never in it so if we do not replace him directly today it is no loss. I still think we need to pick up a couple of loans in the loan window but they should be with a view to make them permanent in the summer. If we have lost the costs of Caulker, Fer, Sandro, Austin and made a small profit on transfers we have done well this window especially if the ones we have signed work out well. Pity the outgoings were not all transfers but loans are better than nothing financially. Hearing that McCarthy to Fulham is off so no hope of Green's wages going anywhere Lets wait for the dust to settle tonight and than work out our best team for the next match - I think it will look ok.

I know we have to move on but thought he didnt really need to tweet that. A DM would have sufficed.

I just hope we have enough left in the team to get 6 more wins . Left us very light Rob will just sit it out until June unless we can loan him out next week. Same for Traore, Gobern and Diakite, I find it funny that they get injuries at transfer time though
