I'm very surprised the youth players still have high numbers to be honest. I would guess that 33 for Polter may be a personal choice, perhaps Mario Gomez is his idol?  |

Does Jack Robinson play in the number 40 through choice? or does this mean he probably has as much chance of playing for us this season as myself?
So with 7 and 9 soon to be vacant as well as 2 and 4, the club needs to start signing players pretty quick.

A really depressing squad, as we are one week to the start of the season and we are still possibly six players short (no number 2 or 4, with austin, phillips, green and fer to be sold). With Traore still in the squadt, its seven.
Yes we will sign players from the lower leagues like perch and get make weights in the players we sell, but i cant see so many players coming in so late, positive. Add to that the injuries we have and we could be very short indeed.
Also, where is Tyler Blackwood on that list?, some people on here thought he was a great addition to the squad.

If Perch signs he is not coming from a lower league - he is leaving because his Championship club have just been relegated and he is getting back to his correct level having played in the Premiership and Championship
As for Blackwood it is the opinion of the coaches that decides these things not posters on this board. Blackwood's publically stated own ambitions for this season are very low and I doubt he will be surprised to not have a squad number.

Thank god its Friday....been a long week and really looking forward to the weekend, going to buy my Son (he's 6) the new kit and he is really excited.
I always look forward to jumping on this board through the day like all of you to catch up and see what's going on and how Pre season is developing its so important!
So its sad to see excellent contributors having a pop at each other...C'mon chaps!
