We all want to see more from the team Harr.
A lot of pundits Sinclair, Langley and others claiming we are unfit, have lost our identity etc etc but have we or are we just suffering from a crisis of confidence when we play away from home? No different to the sort of thing that can happen to an individual, for example Torres at Chelsea but its just happened to us as a collective.
I don't think on our home performances we should have much to worry about but.........

I think of Burnley as a top-tier club, along with Wolves, PNE, Blackburn, WBA, Blackpool and Forest. Blame it on my formative years.

Yes, most before my time, these were very strong, was just reading my Dads Wolves Calendar lunchtime and it had all the snippets from the big games long ago . Huge rivalry with WBA and both were doing well. Sadly most of these were before me, remember Forest but the others don't . When you think how many different teams have been in the Prem since the 90s it's amazing really . Most of them sitting in the Championship and League One , even your Barnsleys, Bradfords etc possibly next year even Bournemouth. I don't recall Sheff Weds ever being in the Prem but may be wrong. On that list Wolves were in the Prem, Blackpool for one year, Preston lost in a play off semi or final a few years back closest they came . Forest spending big money trying to get back the glory years but the gap is so so huge these days .

What's with all this stability?! What was wrong with the revolving door and stream of managers we got used to...tired of this...bring back paladini and briatore!!
Seriously though we are fickle as hell but redknapp has to go...now!!

if he is the man to get us out of trouble then maybe they should get him to sign a new contract and prove they are behind him. maybe then we will see a difference on the pitch.

That's to do with relegation, which Redknapp's is the main cause of That's like saying the lawyer should go to prison cos the criminal they were defending was found guilty. I think you're seriously misunderstanding what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that because of Redknapp not being sacked we will probably go down, which will lead to those other things. I am not blaming Redknapp himself for anything to do with FFP, even though his signings over the last 2 years probably haven't helped much.

Is it some of the signings havnt been good enough Rory' we must have done research on each before we bought seeing the things in them that we wanted ?
Or is it a case of not getting the best from them? Not just directed at Redknapp but Jordan and Bond.
At the moment we sort have the ones playing very well .. Charlie , Fer , Isla .
The ones that are doing ok but could improve a little maybe Vargas , Caulker , Sandro , Mutch
And the poor like M Phillips maybe harsh to put Hoilett in this group .
Course , some were unfit when we bought them, some have had injuries but I,m sure with work we could get more from them .
Look what we have got from Henry and Dunne , amazing really .

Was it Hirst as well that did well for them , maybe I'm getting confused with the two ..I Remember Carbone for them too. Never realised there Prem stay was so long .

Yep Stuart Wardley that's the man. And if I remember right he played for Bishops Stortford in Herts before re-joining Saffron Walden. Cant be sure but I think that's the way it is/was.

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes admits the club will 'live or die' by their decision to keep faith with manager Harry Redknapp. Fernandes released a statement last week confirming Redknapp will stay in charge for the rest of the season. It had been reported that he would be fired if QPR lost at home to Manchester United (which they did 2-0) and that former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood would replace him. Rangers are currently second from bottom and have lost all 10 of their away games - which is a Premier League record. A section of fans wanted Redknapp to go and Fernandes said: "There will be debates on the rights and wrongs, but that's the call myself and the shareholders have made. We will live or die by it. "I want everyone to be focussed and I think speculation is bad. It distracts from the matter at hand, which is maintaining our Premier League status. "I have been very consistent in saying Harry will be here for the whole season - there was never any indication that was going to change." Fernandes spoke with Redknapp on the phone before backing the 67-year-old publicly. He explained: "I wanted to reassure him. Harry is like any human being and must have been wondering if the stories were true. "I was just reassuring him that our word is our bond. I wanted to make sure he was up for the fight, which he very much is. He is not a quitter. This is his team. The majority are his players. Stability is important." www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/qpr-will-live-or-die-by-decision-to-keep-harry-redknapp-in-charge-admits-chairman-tony-fernandes-10002569.html

I was wondering if either Fernandes was just tweeting to show how stupid the original poster was; or was it he doing it to show the kind of things he has to put up with...or did he actually think it!

Why is Fernandes so reluctant to get rid of this idiot and his coaching staff ? i am making a heartfelt plea to him to get shot of this lot with immediate effect, we are fast becoming the joke of the Premier League and i feel if he and his cronies remain we are losing the integrity of the football club and the possibility of our Premier League status, put someone in charge who knows what qpr is all about what it means to both fans and the community alike ,Les Ferdinand would be my choice until maybe the end of the season then reassess, i know its a gamble but imo its a gamble worth taking ,thats it

I'm assuming Fernandes aint stupid. And it's not clear cut: Fire Redknapp and we stay up.
Given the managerial choices out there, who'd join the club - They probably wouldnt join just for 4 months. They'd want a contract for couple years. So the ones we'd WANT we'd not get.
Gamble either way...
Question is: If it's Tim Sherwood: Would he keep us up?
Sometimes just a change of people does it.
