I think the articles in the press today about Harry being sacked if we lose to Man U are just rubbish. If an ultimatum was to be given by the board then surely it would have come prior to the Burnley game.
Also, if these stories of possible deals are to be believed then why would the board be talking to clubs and players/agents if the manager brining them in is to be quite possibly replaced.

1) Rueben is currently in charge of QPR operations and if that article is to be believed, TF has started getting involved again over the last few days. If Rueben wants to sack Harry I feel the others would go with that decision. 2) Tim Sherwood did not have just a mediocre time at Spurs, highest win percentage of any manager at Spurs in the Premier League... Although there are big questions around him like the fact he's a bit of a d**k and the whole article about backstabbing people 3) Eddie Howe will not be our next manager, there is less than a 0% chance of that happening. Firstly, why would he want to leave Bournemouth when he knows chances are he'll be in the Prem with them next season anyway with a squad that he's built up and will still be near his family? Secondly the Bournemouth owners would probably get a hernia from laughing so much if we eve bothered to phone them up and ask permission to speak to him To me it seems Rueben has never been a big Redknapp fan, but getting us promoted and Redknapp's relationship with TF have helped him keep his job. If it's up to him, wouldn't be surprised to see Redknapp sacked. As far as Sherwood, not sure if he's up to it, but he did turn around Spurs and besides bringing in youth, got a lot out of Adebayor, who you could compare to Adel with his poor work ethic. I think the youth part is another reason TF likes him. He has said he wanted to go young for a while, and I believe he means it, we didn't sign a lot of old players this season. But with Redknapp at the helm that will never happen. Either way, it might be worth it, if he can give QPR the same shot in the arm. He might not be a great long term choice, time would tell, but he could do enough to keep them up this year. Not to forget, he knows a lot of the players and front office staff. Even if he fails, the direction QPR is heading now is almost certain relegation. No road points equals no chance and I think this is the way the board sees it after the Burnley loss. While expecting a win over Man U seems ridiculous, it is what this team would have to do to stay up without points on the road. I also agree about Howe, no chance, same with McClaren. The only way McClaren happens, is if QPR stay up, don't sign Sherwood and Derby don't get promoted somehow.

This is the man who said 100% Fer was going to Southampton and we didn't stand a chance. When was the last time Dave Mac got something right?

Personally, I think we should keep Harry for the rest of the season, as I just can't see an affordable, credible alternative. Bringing in anyone else would be nothing more than an expensive, pot-luck punt in the hope we might get a bit of new manager 'bounce'. Let's say it might cost us £3m to sack Harry - why not give him that amount as an additional transfer/loan fund? Interesting to see that Sherwood is 4/5-on to be our next manager... 4/5 Tim Sherwood 12/1 Glenn Hoddle Steve McClaren Karl Robinson 16/1 Gianfranco Zola Paul Ince Dave Jones Tony Mowbray Dougie Freedman ...some very unlikely and pretty scary names in there!

balance the pay off for Redknapp and all his cronies against relegation, imo it is a chance worth taking, there are still an awful lot of points to be played for, and sometimes a.new manager coming in can be a big filip to a team anyway just my thoughts on the subject

All over Twitter, papers and internet.
DMac has confirmed it too and he usually never 'comments on others stories' but even he has said Harry's days are numbered.
DMac wrote in the summer that most of the board wanted to get rid of Harry end of the season but it was TF who was basically holding the tide back. If Ruben is now in charge I suspect he's ready to let the axe fall. I get the feeling that, like most of us now, he's probably fed up of hearing Harry's excuses and just wants him gone.
At this point I think it's fair to say Harry is a dead man walking.

At this point I think it's fair to say Harry is a dead man walking. I remember hearing that this summer, and with TF having his hands full with other things, Rueben in charge, it doesn't surprise me. Also, something I found interesting in DMac's tweets was he didn't think having TF out of the picture was a bad thing. Gotta say, I am sick of the excuses too. Not the biggest fan of changing managers at this point in the season, but I can't blame them after failing to get anything from Burnley. No points on the road will lead to certain relegation and with the matches at home coming up, not much of a chance there either.

So Harry is blaming a Mole eh? I have amore simplistic theory Harry - 11 away games without a single point might be an indicator ok. Second hint might be 19th position.

Two points from the last 5 games not good enough and only one place we are heading . Points at home going to be harder, points away non existent . Be lucky to get 33-34 let alone 37

A real comedy of errors, a poor Utd side still good enough to beat us though. Some sheer farce towards the end when we were clean through and somehow f*** kd it up sums it up. Harry's look of utter disgust said it all. "What more can I do.?" He probably thinks- well frankly nothing mate, get out the sword and fall on it.

I do wonder if the deal is already done and they were just waiting until after the match to sign. Considering the fact that this story came out early in the week, you would think they already starting talks and tried to get a feel for the price range. I do hope it doesn't take long. Get a couple of players in the window and get his coaches in.

I'm not a big fan of changing managers mid season as the bump is usually only around 6 games or so...but things are not looking that good...today Redknapps shrug after the Vargas breakaway told a lot, he doesn't seem to know how to turn it around. I also don't think its a good move to change managers after losing to Man United ![;-|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/squint.png) ...but to be fair, if he is let go, it's because of the zero away points, and the points given away in the last few home games...to me in particular the Swansea game, when all you need to do is set up shop until the end of the game... If the Sherwood appointment does happen, not sure how I feel about that...sure he got a lot out of Adebayor, but his team wasn't really that outstanding after the first few games he was in charge... To me the only bright spot today was Nedum Onuoha...Man of the match for both teams...showed those other players how to actually defend...calm and composed on the ball, decent distribution, strong in the tackle, carried the ball forward as a good centre half should do..what a fantastic player he has been for us since he joined...always does what he is asked to do...not every position is his best, but he sure puts his all into it...never lets us down with his passion and committment to the cause.

This was the worst Man Utd side in living memory at Loftus Rd. Worst defence in the league and he bangs on about wanting more strikers, then leaves Zarate on the bench. Enough is enough now.

We will stay up if we get another Striker for sure ![m.a.d](//storage.proboards.com/2689787/images/dTeoB8OvtSZWQ2keH2aI.gif) Yeah more Strikers, defence has let in 40 goals at two goals a game , let's outscore them all. Two points from the last 5 games, with 16 to go should at least get 6 -7 more. Deary me, it's painful. Well done Palace for showing some balls , new Manager in, three wins from three so far.
