Well if I move on to QPR Report's messageboard awards, I don't think you'd want to be a winner in at least some of the potential categories I've got Anyway, better to look on it as EVERYONE is a winner.

I agree with the initial thread. Pretty much has summed up this last season quite nicely.

Raising ticket prices for Derby county game deserves a greed award, refused by Derby and then forgotten
While most teams give significant cut rates for tickets, ours gives a tiny reduction then time limits it.
Announces signing of Helgusson then demurrs, then your guess is as good as mine.
Not signing a healthy known goal scoring striker which Souse. wanted but His Nibs laughed at.
Buying Kaspar and having him hang out in bok for months after a weird back and forth with blackpool.
Lee Camp designated chief game watcher,
Never playing the same lineup two games in a row.
Firing Sousa because of some bilge on a website alleged.
But then nobodys perfect and everyone makes mistakes but few can
consistently say, mistakes are not mistakes but building the team from the bottom up
Bottoms Up mates. forgot B,dale loaned to southend but shows up in brighton.

quote of the year?
“I think so. The techniques of management are the same whether you run a clothing company or a football club. Management is the way you produce your product - your efficiency, your creativity, and the people you choose to make the dream come true. Now I stick to what I love for the moment - formula one. When I no longer have that love maybe I try football again.”
flavio briatore.
(maybe not strictly this year...I hope)

Non-Player of The Year: Gary Borrowdale Non-Player of The Year: Daniel Parejo. Whilst Borrowdale impressively was only at the club for a matter of days before he went on loan the rest of the season to Brighton, Parejo managed to get picked and actually non-played for the first team. The fact that he now plays among equals in Real Madrid's first team makes this award all the more impressive because not only did he look completely disinterested on the pitch and managed to have no effect on the game whatsoever (1 cross does not count as effective), he obviously could have if he honestly tried. Accepting full wage for a half-arsed job was disgraceful enough, let alone the disrespect paid to the club (the people paying those wages). At least Borrowdale wanted to play first team football and like Blackstock quickly realised that would be elsewhere, as a team that changes managers so quickly and has no apparent communication between who buys and sells the players and who manages the team cannot offer an assured future to a player on even a monthly basis. In a profession which could be over in 10-15 years such assurances are golden. I don't blame either of them for leaving looking for first team football, so Parejo who was given it surely is more deserving of the award. I wouldn't want his only season in english football to be entirely pointless and fruitless after all.

Relaxing on her now ;D ;D Some things are never forgotten, even by my alcohol befuddled memory!!! Talking of home comforts, my daughter is having a "Pamper" party this evening so I am banished upstairs from 8PM. May have to stroll off to the local methinks. Don't ask what a "Pamper" party is, I have no idea. The woman who's running it is alright though.
