Wasn't there some controversy about this last year? Celtic have an affiliation with the Irish republican cause (not officially) and thus have all that 'history' that goes with it. I don't think they acknowledge our recognition of the fallen in the way that we do it. It's a shame because this year, for the first time, the Irish government was invited to and laid a wreath at the Cenotaph in recognition of the Irish that joined up and died (Southern Ireland obviously).

This is all off the top of my head so if it's boll*cks please forgive as I realise these matters can be offensive.
