Anyone know why celtic are not wearing a poppy on their shirts today?

Anyone know why celtic are not wearing a poppy on their shirts today? Wasn't there some controversy about this last year? Celtic have an affiliation with the Irish republican cause (not officially) and thus have all that 'history' that goes with it. I don't think they acknowledge our recognition of the fallen in the way that we do it. It's a shame because this year, for the first time, the Irish government was invited to and laid a wreath at the Cenotaph in recognition of the Irish that joined up and died (Southern Ireland obviously). This is all off the top of my head so if it's boll*cks please forgive as I realise these matters can be offensive.
