Six months ago today, first learned (from the Bolton site) that Helguson had FINALLY, and this time REALLY, after some days of chaos, signed on loan for QPR. As noted on QPR Report at the timeQPR Report - Wednesday, November 26, 2008 Only from Bolton Learn "Helguson has finally completed a loan move [to QPR]"- Reading QPR's Official site, you would never know that there had been any problem with the transfer since it was announced as having been completed last week. Instead from QPR you get today the risible ostensible Helguson quote "When QPR showed their interest in me, I didn't hesitate in making the move." Bolton Official Site - Heidar Is A Loan Ranger Wed 26 Nov 2008HEIDAR HELGUSON has finally completed a loan move to Coca Cola Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers. The Iceland international will stay at Loftus Road until the 1st of January. Since arriving at the Reebok Stadium in the summer of 2007 from Fulham, the 31 year-old has made 10 appearances for Wanderers, netting two goals. Bolton QPR's Way of Ensuring People KNEW that Helguson was now at QPR was this post today. Nothing about he had just signed; and that the announcement last week from last week had become, for a while "inoperative." QPR OFFICIAL SITE HELGUSON RARING TO GO - November 26, 2008 = Buoyed by his recent goalscoring exploits for Iceland, Heidar Helguson is raring to go in a QPR shirt. The 31 year-old, who could make his Rangers debut against Crystal Palace this weekend, can't wait to prove himself to the R's faithful. "This is a good opportunity for me to play some First Team football," the Bolton Wanderers loanee told www.qpr.co.uk. "I need to be playing regular football and hopefully I'll get the chance to do that here. When QPR showed their interest in me, I didn't hesitate in making the move." A scorer at Championship level for Watford in the past, Helguson is confident he can score the goals to fire Rangers up the Championship table. "I've been brought here to score goals," he added. "Of course it could take time to settle, like it does at any Club, but I am confident I can produce the goods for QPR." Helguson will wear squad number 27. QPR qprreport.blogspot.com/2008/11/only-from-bolton-learn-helguson-has.htmlAnd a QPR Report Summary at the time: (How little we knew )"After a Week of Sturm und Drang: Bolton's Helguson Joins QPR!" qprreport.blogspot.com/2008/11/helguson-joining-qpr.html

Seven weeks later....!
"The Fan:" "[Sousa] went on to tell me that the day he became manager the board signed Helguson EVEN THOUGH he failed a medical!"
Pete: "Just for the record Helgusson never failed a medical, played and scored for Iceland 3 days before signing for QPR...."

It's not that I want you to change the record, but can't you flip it over and we can listen to the instrumental on the other side whilst we wait for new news? (Don't forget for 'legal' reasons Oswald can't explain anything!)

There is that! But my belief is that "some people" want to do what they do; or say what they say. And then not be held accountable. Hoping to play out the clock
To quote F. Scott Fitzgerald from The Great Gatsby
"...It was all very careless and confused. They were careless people, Tom and Daisy—they To smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made...."

right what i was told was that he came down to sign feck up in picking him up. More or less done the deal and FB cancelled it due to wages and not happy with deal. Paladini then had to go back to bolton and then had to pay more monies on wages. I dont think there was ever a medical or it there was it was the same fella who done sturridge, nygard, and so on. as looking at the fella it looks like his knees are shot to bits. We got him on the rebound and paid more than we would have done the first time and had to give him a longer personal deal. A Risk like him so have got a six month deal max then a deal on pay as you play.
