What is it with the headless chicken? What did he do today that looked even half good? Why, oh why does he keep getting starts? Let's face it; there were a lot of players on our side today who are desperately looking for a way out and don't give a toss whether we win or lose. The only players with real commitment to my mind were Mackie, Hill, Nelsen and Derry and these are probably four players who are somewhere in the lower reaches of the pay scale as compared to the other mercenaries.

Redknapp still believes we can do it, so do I. Sick and tired of the surrender monkeys on here, go and follow a French team rather than slagging off our one!I've not had enough of our team but I have of the bollox spouted on here! And no, I don't give a shyte if you are proven right. Redknapp has to say that. I doubt even he genuinely believes it either CPR.

Bring in some of the youngsters, surly they can't do any worse, arry you got a scouting team, scout the lower divisions for some hidden gems they are there and if we go down rebuild with them and get rid of the tossers and their high wages.

I could say as long as it's mathematically possible, Redknapp has a transfer window and time to start turning it round and this team is far to good on paper to go down as my reason's for believing, but I won't. All I'll say is CPR has never been wrong about this yet. Starting at the shithole on Wednesday, We are QPR and we are staying up. Happy 2013 and fu(k you if you don't believe me!

CPR, I think most of us are just trying to be realistic about our prospects.
Mathematically we can stay up, but with just 1 win in 20 games and a truly dysfunctional squad of players can you really see us turning this around? We need to pretty much play like Man Utd or Man City the rest of the way in to stand any chance.
As for the fans jacking it in with 19 games to go, well, some of us may say a large majority of the players jacked it in an awful long time before we did.

Can't believe how we let Liverpool do what ever they liked today talk about sitting deep and asking for trouble. Didn't anyone and that includes Harry watch what Stoke did to neutralize Liverpool. Gerrard was so ordinary that day and Suarez kept relatively in check. When to press when to drop, keep a shape defend in pairs. When we had the ball there was no one in front of it or anyone offering good support. Feck me its basics.
Embarrassing not even giving themselves a chance to get a favorable result.
Ps don't get me started on cisse.

HARRY: WE WON’T GIVE U
Redknapp insists QPR will avoid the drop despite loss to Liverpool this afternoon ...
I still think it’s possible for us to stay up. That’s my belief."
Harry Redknapp
Harry Redknapp defiantly predicted QPR will avoid relegation this season, despite seeing the R’s lose 3-0 to Liverpool at Loftus Road today.
Two goals from Luis Suarez and a Daniel Agger header before the break proved the difference between the sides, but the Rangers boss told http://www.qpr.co.uk: “I still think we’ll get out of trouble because I will get one or two in, and there are some good lads here as well.
“I still think it’s possible for us to stay up. That’s my belief.
“We’re not kidding ourselves. We’ve got some hard games to come. We go to Chelsea and then we’ve got Tottenham, two fantastic teams, but there’s a long way to go.
“There can be ten games left and you could need 20 points, but it can be done. You can still do it. You don’t give up.
“We mustn’t give up. We’ve got to keep believing and keep going.”
Rangers find themselves eight points adrift of safety following this afternoon’s defeat, and Redknapp admitted: “It was a difficult day today.
“Liverpool have got real quality. You look at some of their players like Suarez, Steven Gerard. They’re fantastic players.
“I thought we worked hard enough and in the second half we changed how we played and I thought we did much better, but it’s difficult.
“On the first day of the season we got beat here by five against Swansea. It’s difficult. You can only get what you can out of what you’ve got.
“You look at their team today – it’s probably cost in excess of £150 million. They’ve got quality players, top players. And that’s the difference.
“We are bottom of the league because, over the course of the season, that’s where we deserve to be. You don’t go 17 games without a win if you’re that good. But we’ve got to do something about it. Improve a little bit, get the best out of what we’ve got.”
With Rangers three behind at the break, Redknapp brought on the combative Shaun Derry, and he admitted: “In the second half it became a case of damage limitation.
“You can’t be stupid about it. What can you do, open up and say you’re going to score four goals in the second half against a side like that?
“Sometimes you’ve got to be realistic. No one wants to attack more than I do but when you’re up against a team that can cut through you like we were today, you have to be realistic.
“I thought we had some good movement in the second half and created a couple of good opportunities, played some decent stuff, but it’s not easy.”
Redknapp confirmed he will be active in the upcoming transfer market, but he knows he faces a difficult task adding new additions to his ranks.
“It’s not easy getting players in at this stage of the season when you’re bottom of the league but if someone’s up for the challenge and it’s the players I want, there’s a great chance for someone to come in and have a go,” he said.
“We need some new faces and that’s what we’re trying to do. If we get a couple of the right players in I think we can have a real go.
“Those that are with us, are with us. Those that are not, well hopefully we can do something with them in January.
“I genuinely believe we will get out of trouble and not be relegated.”

QPR boss explains Cisse substitution
30/12/2012 by David McIntyre
Harry Redknapp said his decision to substitute Djibril Cisse at half-time against Liverpool was about “damage limitation” because QPR were already 3-0 down.
Rangers boss Redknapp replaced the striker with Shaun Derry, who helped prevent the visitors adding to their goal tally after the break.
“Did you think we were going to win 4-3? Nor did I,” said Redknapp.
“You have to be realistic in football. Do you want to get beaten 8-0 or are you going to come out, keep a bit of pride intact and work hard in the second half?
“Damage limitation it’s called. It’s not a nice situation, but that was the situation I was in and it’s what I had to do.
“I had to change how we played and try to shut up shop. Maybe I should have done that from the start.
“You look at it at 3-0 and think ‘hang on, it’s going to be seven or eight here if we’re not careful’.”
But Redknapp did hint at problems involving the unsettled Cisse, who was ineffective once again and may well leave during the transfer window.
Redknapp said: “I know what the problems are but I don’t want to say publicly with one or two.
“You have to have everybody who works as a team if you’re going to get out of trouble. You only need one or two who don’t buy into that, or can’t do that, and you have a problem.
“Second half, we worked much harder. We pushed Jamie Mackie up front and he worked hard. We put people under pressure and worked harder.”

Perhaps Mr TAylor and his free seat mate should take a permanent rest from the club? Can't wait for it. Coming up this week, a different player everyday spouting off how they know they performed badly and want to make it up to the fans next week...blah blah blah.

Read more: qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=34527&page=2#ixzz2GZbvOSpa**************** Sounds like he hasn't learned his lesson and will license one final spending spree to avoid the drop. He seems focused on players rather than the lack of knowledge based leadership needed in the murky world of the transfer market. Or the short term goal of purchasing success rather than growing it. Really, until he becomes as well-versed in the Football business culture as say, Levy of Spurs, or barring that, hiring someone or two with footballing nous to advice him and Beard, he'll keep being publicly mugged again by two bit conmen. TBH this sort of setback was necessary. Fernandes had been coasting too easily in all his affairs up to now and underestimated the nature and scope of the football culture he'd jumped into. He'll either learn from this with a post-analysis or two (after relegation) and come out more wary and wise, or he'll give up and be forever known worldwide as a quitter

To be fair what did ANY of them do gramps? It's easy to point fingers but at the end of the day he was no better or worse than the rest of them. Whilst I agree derry and hill have heart they seriously lack the talent required at this level...like someone else mentioned elsewhere, our talented players have no heart and our players with heart have no talent...what a mixed up mess of a squad we have!

A Christmas Carol? Abysmal, abject, miserable – we were all of these today, and more. We played like a team that has been shown the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, seen its name on the tombstone, but is still too greedy and hard-hearted to mend its ways.
Why do we still concede from corners so easily, waste all our dead-ball opportunities, and still have not a Dickens of an idea how to cross? Have we learned nothing?
Even Harry must shoulder some responsibility for the outcome today, it seems to me. We were so tactically naive, letting Henderson and Suarez carve us up like Bronze turkeys instead of clamping them down like Stoke did. And why wait till half time to make a change when it was clear we were in freefall after just 15 minutes?
This is a season that started with such Great Expectations, but now Bleak House is all that's left... Unless, of course, Mr Pickwick (er, Redknapp) turns out to be that other David Copperfield...

Dave McIntyre praising QPR Loan, Cole !
1m David McIntyre David McIntyre â€@davidmcintyre76
can come in under radar & is right man at right time.
consistently slagged off club for not knowin difference between a good player & good signing. Cole an example of someone out of fashion who
Cole a good pro, not money grabber, who'll embrace the battle & get new lease of life. Can still unlock a door& is better than what QPR have
as I've been saying for weeks, I think Joe Cole will have a major short-term impact at QPR and give place a big lift. Good signing.
Not sure whether I got more stick- all good natured- for saying QPR would struggle& signings were crap (again) or for saying they'll stay up

Nelsen has been reported here as been on 50k and although today was an 'off" day, he's been streets ahead of the rest in earning his dosh. Hill? Sorry but after mouthing off and then being involved in all three goals, he too might want to shut the F*** up and just get on with it.

I even offered to just go down to the ground one afternoon and pick it up, no need for a presentation or anything, just so I could have something to place next to the same award that my dad won in 1998, nine months before his death. Then Im sick and tired of the pollyannan aint over till its over monkeys and I aint bolding it neither. The players surrendered a long time ago mostly because they realised they couldnt compete. Or all kind of other reasons why they wanted out. Like supporting Sadaam Hussein surounded by the Alied Army. Well if you have Serbian blood in you I can understand it, since they have lost every war they fought, and you know what? they celebrate lost wars. Of course they finished 2nd 3rd or so. QPR finishes 21st.

There are no successful pundits on this board that make every prediction correctly. that mythology doesnt sit squarely in my book. In fact one "always getting it right" type said yes we will go up and the Faurlein deal was FA clean. Well you know what my dear boardmates, thats one prediction I wish had gone against us. None of this two years of slowly disappearing from whence we came.

I "understand" bad signings and bad appointments and bad results and various financial issues re QPR (and even not answering my every query and tweet ) I don't understand the club's lack of responsive or whatever the right word, re the relatively little, personal things. It's not as though QPR are a massive club with 70,000 people coming in each week and a global network. And it's not as though the club is so understaffed - especially in the PR Department which has grown considerably
