"You seem to think of yourself as the new internet cyber hero for GP now Nico has gone."
Was hoping my name did not get mentioned in this rather unfortunate thread, but for the record, Paul, I have not 'gone' I am just not posting as anyone's 'cyber warrior' and trying to stay out of the controversial mud slinging if that's OK.
For the record, I don' think anyone can fairly call that terrible plane crash 'karma'. I also think Bill conducted himself very fairly and honestly in respect if the 'gun incident trial' which was another unfortunate incident some people seem to have made light of. It is a very nasty page from our past, and I have always said that as someone who attended large parts of the trial I never once doubted Gianni's account of the things that occurred that day - an account which was in part supported by Bill's evidence. As Bill said, the defendants were found not guilty and so that is the end of it - it's a shame some people turned that verdict into a verdict that Gianni was lying - the two are very different and to do the latter is as unfair as it is to say a rape victim made it up when an accused is found not guilty by a jury. The law does not work that way.
But it is a page from our past and there is little point, from QPR fans' perspective, of revisiting it now. We are in a wholly different era and those with real power at the Club are a different group of people today. For similar reasons that I prefer not to comment on what I think occurred that day during the Shef Utd match, I prefer to stay out of the debate about how the new owners are doing, but naturally that is a debate far more important to QPR than the former one.

Nico, 10 posts on this site, well done! Nice photos on your photo site. As you wont comment on the current board etc, what about your opinion on the team and where you think it needs sorting other than a goal scorer

Thanks Andy I don't think we have a bad team right now, what we need mopre than anything is a good manager though. I agree about a striker though, and I persnally was sorry to see Dexter go. He might not be everyone's favourite, but he has been our top scorer each year he has played at the club and there is no doubt he will need replacing.
Delroy/florida, me thinks you are trying to get me to play your game of cyber war again here. Not interested mate. You are right I could not give advice in that case. Moreover, I am not a criminal lawyer at all and couldn't give advice to any party whether paid or free. And lastly, as I am sure you know, the only person I knew well in the case, Gianni, was not a party and did not have any lawyer or legal adviser, unlike the defendants, because he, like BP, were merely witnesses for the CPS.

I don't absolve myself of any such thing, Delroy, because you cannot have absolution without sin in the first place, and I have never been involved in any 'colluding activities' in any case in my life and never would.
Thanks for the wine though

Hope you read that Scott. Now you have made an arse of yourself over this, basically proving that you don't know what you're talking about and that someone is fulling your head with crap. All this nonsense talk about marketing isn't going to change the fact that you have embarrassed yourself.

Please don't use what I say to beat Scott or pick on him here. I don't like any kind of internet bullying whoever is responsible. My personal opinion is that Scott was mistaken to talk of karma in respect of the plane crash, but I also think he has asked some legitimate questions about the trial. It's just too difficult to speak openly to answer them (although I think Bill has done very well to do so here, whilst staying on the right side of libel laws). You must realise that when a defendant is found not guilty of an offence he can bring libel proceedgins against someone who says he is guilty. So all this is dangerous territory, but that doesn't mean everyone should just gang up on Scott because he is concerned about the truth of what occured that day. Critisizing him for talking of karma is another thing though.
Let's all move on from this now

Critisizing him for talking of karma is another thing though. Let's all move on from this now Hello Nico, Firstly I welcome you to the board and hope in the future you will post on non-boardroom topics as well. As a true Ranger your opinion of what happens on the pitch would always be welcome. I do disagree with the assertion that we have ganged up on Scott because he is concerned about the truth of what occured that day. Quite the contrary, we would, along with all other message boards, eagerly seize any new information pertaining to any facet of QPR 'life' and discuss it within the rules of the forum that we all agree on. Everyone agreed Scott went about this in the wrong way to begin with and came off sounding very confrontational towards Mr. Power that was in every way not in keeping with this boards' ethos. What was also shocking was as well as the fact that he was a moderator so he had a greater resposibility to uphold that ethos, he based it all on a comment made by a person on a different board. I respect his right to question Mr. Power but without actual fact and only messageboard hearsay his harsh attack on Mr. Power's credibility as both a witness in a court case but also as a man of standing within the world of QPR was both unnecessarily savage and unwarranted given the supposedly new information at hand. That's more or less why I condemned his post and asked for him to be removed as a moderator. Given also his refusal to answer all questions put towards him coupled with his arrogance of ignoring several posters on this matter it was only right what happened. The Karma quote stands in the light of reasonable minds for what it was and therefore needs no further discussion. All debate is welcome here and no subject is taboo, along as it concerns QPR and is well founded in fact or intelligent thought. No with all that in mind, what do you think of the diamond formation? I think the christmas tree one suits us more. Personal sidebar: I just also want to express my horror at making a self-depreciating internet porn joke on a thread with only 200 views at the time. Now it has surpassed 1000 views, even more than the 'nudity' thread, I do see the irony in how scottjones isn't the only one embarrassed by what they put on this thread!

For similar reasons that I prefer not to comment on what I think occurred that day during the Shef Utd match, I prefer to stay out of the debate about how the new owners are doing, but naturally that is a debate far more important to QPR than the former one. Well Nico i have to say this is all very convenient you popping by to say hello again. I see you have done so on one or two other boards as well. Let me first of all say i do not know you nor am i likely to mix in your circles nor do i have any axe to grind with you personally, except to make comment on a couple of your points, and maybe one or two other things if i may? Scott Jones has made some pretty big accusations on this link, and whilst i understand no normal sane person wants to be associated with him or his ramblings, it is a fact that you were shall we say close confidants in the past, particularly when attacking posters on all sites that dared to question Mr Paladini and some of his dubious actions, some people will also swear they were bullied physically on match days by security staff, and that some received threatening phone calls traced back to the club, whether or not you care to comment on this, many of us remember your name being linked as a legal asdvisor to the club, Mr Paladini or indeed both. Yourself and other posters now under the guise of WATRBS took it upon themselves to watch all boards and completely trash anyone who did not toe the party line. You talk about the trial being "A page from our past" yes you are correct, an incident that suits you and your cohorts at that time to bury into the past..an all to murky past that this club had never before seen in over 100 years. in fact most of Mr Paladinis entire spell at the club has been a murky embarrasing episode that we would all like to erase from the history books. But alas Nico history is history and it cannot by its very nature either be erasred or forgotten. The trial for which i know there is a full transcript link somewhere, ended with A Unanimous Not Guilty verdict for all accused, that is to say, the names that scott jones mentions were and still are completely innocent men, and thats what history will show. You say you at the time believed Mr Paladinis "version of events" and that you had no reason to doubt him, this i accept from you in good faith as a legal man of good character, but would you care to comment on the 77 lies quoted by the defence barrister that Mr Paladini made in court (Apologies if that number is incorrect, i cannot find the transcript) you see i find that a bit hard to take, that many lies under oath, dont you? surely because of this the trial did in fact lend itself to the Paladini lies trial and not a so called gun incident. I may be wrong but i have never seen an official denial of these lies, either from the club Mr Paladini or his Legal rep at the time or since, one of which would have been you i guess?..to mention these lies in the same breath as a rape trial is a little bit uncalled for i think. Mr Paladini lied under oath in a british court of law, he slandered QPR supporters, the very same ones he now claims to have saved the club for..Hmm frying pan and fire seems to come to mind right now.. You see Nico i know you would like to forget the past, but that very past has now soured our future, we have lost and continue to lose large amounts of long time supporters, both through cost and i believe largely disgust at the past and this new so called Boutique Future... I accept you are no longer connected to the club, but as Margaret Thatcher is no longer connected to politics, you both still haunt our thoughts and our memories, like beaten up miners, some of our fans will never forget the part yoyu and your friends played in our clubs demise, some of you just suddenly seemed to appear from nowwhere to terrorise message boards and individuals...every single thing Mr Paladini did was covered and smoothed over by certain individuals and then as if by magic the clubs legal advisor would come along and advise the dissenters to put up or shut up, and if they did nt they had a phonecall... elsewhere on this board there is a thread about the training ground being closed or not...now i believe you were the legal rep at that time, and i also believe you were aware of the phone call made to the playing sides management at that time by Mr Paladini, a call that maybe asked them to give the players a reason for the closure? lets just say that to ask that of a certain person was quite unforgivable and i am led to believe will be made clear one day in this persons autobiography...im sure you wont want to remember this and a lot of other wrong doings , that happened during your period as legal advisor, im sure your aware there were quite a few. I believe you still work for some clubs in a legal capacity, please pacify me, had any of this happened at those clubs would the Chairman have survived? would it have been allowed to happen? i hope you can answer this question because you see it forms part of the whole history of events...would todays government introduce a poll tax? would they have striking workers beaten to a pulp and have them watched by our security services? No and No i would say..would Manchester United allow David Gill to go to court and lie through his back teeth and then carry on running the club? crucify his own fans and still continue ? NO and No again, so please try and explain to us thick QPR fans why your Man Paladini managed it? why you feel its ok to divulge some secrets to the newspapers and not others, and why you now do not wish to dig up the past, a past you helped to create and some of your friends still continue to live for? Im sorry you feel a poster brought your name up and that you did not want to be involved in any mud slinging, but unfortunately for you Nico its your Mud, you and Mr Paladinis Mud, and its your cohorts that are still "Slinging" it..We Are QPR you and your friends are not, you are the very reason our ship is sinking and one day you will all be made accountable, that day will come Nico because history is only history because it always comes out, every dirty stinking little secret, and when it does you and your friend will finally know the real meaning of the words Guilty and Not Guilty...... i will now erase my account as i do not wish to change my phone number again...let others comment...

Hi Mr Gatekeeper, I wanted to respond sensibly to your post but it's not too easy given the thinly veiled threats and ludicrous historical hyperbole you end it with.
But let me answer you on one thing that a few people maybe unfamiliar with the legal system have shared a confusion with you about (and I am giving you the benefit of the doubt that you don't know better).
You have conlcluded that 'Mr Paladini lied under oath in a british court of law' and this is some sort of fact because one of the defence barristers suggested that he had told a number of lies. I am afraid that if things were as simple as that just about every prosecution witness in every trial would be a liar. It is the job of a defence barrister to suggest the leading witness for the prosecution is lying or at least mistaken. That's what they do. Just because they do that does not mean it's true (of course!), and just because a jury are not persuaded that the crown have made out their case beyond reasonable doubt does not for a moment mean that the jury have conlcuded any prosecution witness has lied - only that they cannot be sure of guilt. There is a world of difference.
Gatekeeper whoever you are, I can tell you are full of hate and want your vengance, and I'm sorry if you have ever been threatened yourself - it is totally unacceptable whereever it comes from - but I do hope you read this and you are broad minded enough to realise the main reason you have concluded Gianni is a liar is based on a complete misunderstanding.
Anyway, bye for now
