That perennial debate was raised again recently on another board. Well this is what Marc Bircham said six months ago in a QPR Net Interview Marc Bircham Interview on his Five Years at QPR - Claims "[In 2006] we got locked out of the training ground because the bill hadn’t been paid"- Bircham talks about joining QPR in 2002 and about various on and off the field issues. A number of things have been previously reported (or rumoured). But of course it's interesting that Bircham says what he says. Bircham speaks about various games at QPR which all fans will remember; the playoff final and promotion the following season; and then the following season; the Italian tour and players left behind. He is very positive about Ian Holloway as manager "thought the way Olly was treated was terrible." Waddock "was a bit of a puppet really." He gives his view about then Chairman Paladini and makes the claim, the club categorically denied at the time "we got locked out of the training ground because the bill hadn’t been paid." The well-worth-reading interview at QPRNet Interview with Marc Bircham www.qprnet.com/interviews/bircham.shtml[I remember there was also a groundsman who posted on Indys saying not the case. And of course Paladini denied. As did some other board posters.)

Bircham, Groundsman or Paladini. Who is telling the truth?

Bircham wasnt even there that morning,
I do believe that an unreserved apology was made by the posters that alleged it.
Anyone who is even close to QPR will know that Cat was telling the truth.
And offence implied, bringing this up is despicable...it was a non story, a lie, that got many hauled over the coals.
leave it where it is
BS old rumours

Scott, how do you know Bircham wasn't there. Also where was this unreserved apology. I would have thought if there was one it should be on the site. Also are you certain that Bircham is the only player that has said this?

Ok. Here we have an old statement by Paladini denying lock out. (Of course, given some of the other things he says in this statement... ;D www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~875457,00.html

Well I guess that's the one I was referring to. Will look again.
As I've made clear: I'm against banning - you and others from Indys. Me from WATRB (repeatedly!) But I've never banned Pete from this site - I'm just humbled when he comes over - even he still can't get himself to psot:D

I'm sure he will do one day Anyway, back to who is telling lies, BP or Paul Finney..quite a strong accusation that finney has made, saying he was out drinking with Mr Power and someone accused of putting a gun to someone's head whilst the infamous trial was going on. I'm quite sure bp wasnt out drinking with the then accused and he'll be along soon to clarify that.
