Loads on Twitter defending him, the amount of sucking up to him is quite frankly disgusting. Are they Man Ure fans

Oh & Kemp as the Tevez playing "The pussy Card"!!! Well then Barton played right into the "Idiot Card" trap!!! For yet another time & could have cost us more than just 3 points this time if not for hero efforts from actual players that gave a shit about out club & Stokes great home record!!!.........He's a TIT pure & simple & I have defended him alot over the last few months......Feel sick that I actually did that!!! Elmermark I for one will continue to support him despite his reputation, he is our captain and lead the charge to PL survival. Do not knock me for that if he is still with us next season I shall continue to back him nothing will change for me. Let us all just be grateful for we are Premier league. C'mon u R's

To be honest I have looked at why Mark Hughes has played this guy and understand. Joey Barton (former Captain) didn't keep QPR up this year. Stoke did. Joey didn't care about QPR as a Captain in todays game at 54 minutes into the match.
Mark needs to reshape the team for next year &.....Bye Joey.......

He will get a massive pat on the back from the lads for having the audacity to do what he did after his sending off because it takes balls and courage to do that in front of millions of people. They will hold him aloft.

Floridar I am really serious about the Barton thing I think when the coming weeks have passed people will begin to understand what he did and why he reacted the way he did.
Time is a good healer and we are in close season now.

Kempton, just wondering if you would still defend him if we were back in the Championship? He certainly would not be joining his mates for a celebration then.

Never mind his reaction after the sending off. I can't understand what he did following Tevez "doing" him.
His optionns were:-
1) Go down & hope that Tevez is sent off, 2) Bide his time & thump Tevez later in the game (what Bobby Keetch would have done), 3) Retaliate & get sent off & put us in jepody.
I would have supported options one or two but three?

Marion that is something we do not have to give any consideration too well at least for the next 12 months. So if I were to give an hypothetical answer to your question then I would have to give time to consider the answer because I am just ecstatic that we have survived relegation.
Ask me again in a few days time because I get the feeling this subject will not go away for a few weeks yet.
Thank you

I'm with kempton.
Not only that, I wanted him to whack a few more before he walked.
He set the tone for the battle and we were robbed in the last five minutes.
Barton went up in my estimation 100 fold today.
If you don't like that, tough, footballs a man's game not a politically correct nice person crapola.
Yes, I've had a couple but he was stitched up good and proper by that cheating snidey argie git tevez!!!!
Glad he kicked maradona's son in law, he was gobbing off at barton, we stand and fall together guys, like him or not!

I think that is as far away from being a man as you can get. He didn't set the tone. The tone was already there. The only thing he did was to put his team mates in a difficult situation, which ment they had to work even harder to cover for his manlessness.

How would you have reacted? We were with him all the way as we felt he was cheated and shared his grief, he failed to chin mancini sadly. I've not seen what happened since as Sky have obviously only concerned themselves with the lucky team! Gutted, we should have won!

whatever is decided by the powers that be within our club we must
accept the decision.
i would not be surprised to see him playing for us next season after
a 10 game ban or so but we shall see.
reminded me a bit of mark dennis today and lets not forget he was sent off regularly and to many of my qpr mates that guy was a legend. i thought he was doing very well to that point and in the end think the pressure and tevez baiting him got too much. he has not he;ped tonight twittering though and making himself look even worse.
i agree with you all about he should go but am not sure he will and if he is still here at start of season we should accept the decision and try to have a trouble free start to next season unlike this one which put us in the crap from the start.
