I can believe that Barton might have expressed his views to Beard or Fernandes. But I doubt that Fernandes was influenced by tweets he was receiving. First I don't recall much criticism of Warnock until his axing...And second, I doubt Fernandes can even read half of his tweets...Anyone who follows the tweets re QPR, can see all these inane, trite comments by every Tom, Dick,Harry (and some other board names, probably more familiar with! ) being directed to @fernandes ... Nothing substantial there. (I wonder how many of the transfer targets that Fernandes wanted tweeted to him are being implemented! )

Dave McIntyre Tweets davidmcintyre76 would like to see Warnock try to tell Waddock, Dowie, Sousa, Magilton & Hart about what he had to put up with at QPR. Absolutely laughable. not sure what Dave's point is here....though's manager got a rough time does that make NWs tenure more or less admirable. He had to cope with a mad off season in limbo between Briatore & Fernandes and everyone new he was close to sack then even though he'd just won promotion.

By the way as much as I take issue with NW's spin on things his point about underlying issue being the owners' lack of knowledge is correct.

Totally agree, daft comment, Colin was here for 22 months, between that lot did they even make 12? I'll wager after their five minute forays with Paladini and Briatore they walked away a damn sight more wealthy!!!

OY Dave, what spin is that? Is there a manager out there who doesn't think he's better than he is and also thinks he's done better he's given credit for?

Taarabt was the main reason we went up last season.
Warnock is a great Championship manager but got exposed badly at this level.
Had Taarabt gotten injured for any serious length of time last season Warnock gets nowhere near taking this team up.
Taarbs put the team on his back virtually every weekend and won games singlehandedly for us. He also made a lot of average players look way better than they really were
Whilst Warnock's achievements were greatly appreciated the real star of the show last season was Taarabt.
Warnock kept Taarabt sweet because he knew he was his meal ticket back to the Prem.
As Dave McIntyre says, Warnock is an excellent self publicist and managed to convince a lot of people that our success last season was all down to him.
The truth is that it wasn't.

What is it with Daves negativity at the moment?? Every deal we do he says it won't happen and he seems pissed off at everything QPR.

McIntyre not in the loop now that Mark Hughes is on charge so I think he's not as confident as he has been previously about making calls on things.
He was also never a Warnock fan so that may explain some other things.

I think you'll find that Dave never considered himself "in the loop" as it were, he was too outspoken to be invited into the inner sanctum.

Taarabt was indeed our best player but there are plenty who would still disagree with that. Colin was clearly our best manager in years in making use of him in a way "better" managers could not, put together a disparate group of players that by hook or by crook but clearly under his management got us promoted to the Premier league. To say he didn't is simply nonsense.

Totally agree Taarabt was essential/indespensible. And a serious injury would have hurt us badly. But agree we had several others. And Warnock. Note Taarabt was NOT voted QPR Player of the year... Also true that Taarabt was available to Warnock's predecessors. It didn't do them much good/they didn't know how to use them.

Sousa had Tarrabt and so did Magilton. They never got the best out of him. In fact NW was warned by a previous manager that Tarrabt would get him the sack. NW should be given some credit that Adel was so instrumental in getting us promotion.

Flav and Bernie missed a right trick the dopes. Imagine the dough they could of saved on getting to the premiership if they had just made Adel player manager.

He also made a lot of average players look way better than they really were Whilst Warnock's achievements were greatly appreciated the real star of the show last season was Taarabt. He should thank Derry and Faurlin for carrying him on their backs last season. It would have been nice if he had made one tackle or won one header, but I guess he was weighed down by the useless lot around him. Particularly Kenny our POTY. God knows how he did it all by himself. It's a wonder he hasn't been snapped up by a top European side by now. McIntyre not in the loop now that Mark Hughes is on charge so I think he's not as confident as he has been previously about making calls on things. He was also never a Warnock fan so that may explain some other things. McIntyre has purposefully kept his distance from ever being 'in the loop' all the way back to Holloway's tenure in order to maintain his integrity and objectivity. He has stated it many a time and has even been marginalised by the previous regimes for doing so and not taking the invite to be 'in the loop'. Only bitches sell out and McIntyre aint no-ones bitch. Honest reporting with integrity. That's all you get from him and that has probably hindered his career more than helped it, especially in Football reporting, though he at least has his and most other's well deserved respect.

he does seem to have had his nose put out of joint lately though mark. It's not that unusual for him to report or 'tweet' in that style. He has always been more laconic than excitable in his type of reporting and tends to highlight the negatives that seem to go under the carpet more so than the good things, though as he was around throughout Pallidini's time thats more than understandable. If he is more pissed off than usual it probably comes from being a proper fan and just frustrated at Warnock's treatment like many QPR fans have been recently, more than anything else. As an R, he hasn't exactly had much reason to be a happy bunny for the last 12 years either! Hopefully that will change!

I couldn't help noticing that the guy who does our pre/post match show and the Thursday phone in on Player also coated the ex manager who got us prem football yesterday on Twitter. Admittedly he didn't coat the owners so at least he is bright enough to know which side his bread is buttered, also managed to get lots of free publicity for his show.

Not saying Warnock wasn't a big part of it but to listen to him and others you'd think he was the only reason.
He got the best out of Taarabt but it was a good job he did because without him I doubt we'd have even made the playoff places.

He got the best out of Adel by basically saying to the rest 'just give him the ball' .Adel did the rest. Was dissapointed with Neil by the way he forgot that and turned on Adel because of 'player power' ok lets call that 'Barton power'. And now he's insinuating that maybe JB 'tweeted 'him out of a job. I said ages ago that NW should show some balls and stop Barton from tweeting .He was all to ready to slaughter juniour / less vocal or known players like Traore but I think he was a little starstruck by JB. Saying that tho he's a LEGEND for keeping us up and getting us promotion in successive seasons under unbelievable working conditions..

I thought Taarabt was cr ap before Warnock got the best out of him, now I think he is vital to us staying up, he is a quality player & it was Neil Warnock that got him playing in English Football.
Also this cliche that has come about in the last two weeks is getting on my nerves as well; "he's a great Championship manager" "he know's how to get clubs promoted"
No, he's a great football manager fullstop & he did truly great things at QPR in far from ideal circumstances, its a little bid sad seeing him blowing his own trumpet or feeling the need to blow his own trumpet in the media, he doesnt need to.
