These abusive fans should be carted out by obscenity police and banned.
By the way, every sports team in Philladelphia are constantly booed, even if they win. The players are used to it.

But isnt the elephant in the room here a feeling that the club made a terrible mistake by dumping Warnock? Anyone agree? I think the club lost a lot of good-will from a big section of fans regarding the move, but as to whether or not they have made a mistake I am not willing to put my neck on the line after a week and a day. Good grief.

no, we absoluteley did the right thing. this manager wanted a cup run and god bless him. Our form and shape and vigour v Wolves shows an improvement. I believe firmly we will stay up. Goals will go in, even the erstewhile hapless Gabiddon got the winner.

Dreadful night. I agree with jjqpr, by midway through the second half i almost didnt care if we won or lost (although givn a choice i'd obviously want a win) But isnt the elephant in the room here a feeling that the club made a terrible mistake by dumping Warnock? Anyone agree? obviously there are still plenty of NEIL WARNOCK FC supporters left who would be singing that crap even if we installed jose murinho as manager. they need to take a hike down to cornwall with him. qpr 1 0 neil warnock fc

Armchair supporter that I now am, I watched the game on ITV4 and thankfully did not pick up one bit of this. Even I didn't think it was our greatest ever cup display [oh the dire memories]. It seemed almost to me painfully obvious that they were walking on tip toes almost like rabbits caught in the headlights. Nobody had a bad game but it looked like a bunch of players who had never played together before. I don't know if that's as a result of everyone feeling they are on trial for their places? To be fair McDs were a fine example of the whole being greater than the parts, with their teamwork. Sorry drifting off topic, to get back to the point. Booing the players and the new manager now is bordering on unforgivable. I have no problem in normal circumstances with fans showing displeasure even if I don't personally agree with it BUT know 100% booing doesn't help the player and more importantly the team one bit even if it makes the booer feel better for a few seconds. I thought the fans were magnificent up at the Toon and look at how the team responded, remember the Toon had torn Manure apart the week before. I think back to the Oldham play-off game as a fairly recent example and how we carried the team to victory, I know I felt more tired than most of the players that night I shouted so much The warped pleasure I got from watching the neighbours down the road cringe every time any of them had to come near a touchline to get near the ball and the pleasure I probably misguidedly feel now in thinking how they are going to have to run the gauntlet again. What a treat for that lot to look forward to It must have been asked of us a 1000 times in the last 15 years almost always with 'never more important than now', but in my own little world I think again it is. Get behind the team and we all now what 'WE' are capable of. COME ON U RRRRRssssssssssssss!!!!!!

Alvin Martin (whos son is the MK Dons keeper) spoke about the game on talksport this morning.
He was at the game and actually made a point of saying the Rangers fans were patient with the manager as it was his first home game and said how fans seemed to understand transition takes time.

I don't believe he was at the match. As soon as Buzz's number came up on the subs board the top of R and I think Q Block were booing and chanting 'You don't know what your doing' at Hughes. There were some boo's from upper Loft as well

The people booing and chanting must have got egg on thier faces then cos the change led to SWP taking corner and the goal.
Great change in hindsight

Yeah that made me laugh because SWP would never have taken the corner if Buzz had been taken off. That shut those fans up.

As well as watching the game on ITV4, I also paid particular attention (as a one time student of body language) to MH. A few speech bubbles in there would have been saying things like "Oh no, what the hell am I doing here" and "How on earth am I going to turn this round". I hope I misread the signs.

It's so obvious even gordon straghan picked up on it! He's made a big mistake coming here, i dont think the board are matching the ambition they promised, not by a long way. Where on earth are the signings and spending to ensure our safety? I dont think hughes will take too much before he walks!

I so love your optimism and I am sure you are right Just seems to be taking forever to get nowhere right now, I'm pretty sure we won't have anyone in before wigan game now, and assuming they then beat us, will it be season over do you think?

I too THINK we'll spend heavily in the next two week. But if we don't, no amount of reasons/explanations/excuses will do. Either for us. Or I imagine, for Hughes. And he'll have the perfect excuse for quitting "They promised. They haven't delivered" However if somehow we do stay up this season, I'm pretty confident Hughes stays. And we're mid-table next season
I just can't conceive the club would have gone for Hughes and team and made the spending promises, if they weren't serious. Just makes no sense

Just makes no sense Totally agree with that, it doesn;t make sense, there was so much buzz and stuff which seems to have just vanished though...not heard from beard for a while. hughes making a statement that no major overhaul is needed sends shivers down my spine...i dont need to tell you what my mates thought of qpr on the box last night...i couldn't defend anything I saw from us. One thing, and I can't decide if its good or bad, is our defence looks a tiny bit better in just these first couple of games under hughes? Dare I say it gabidon actually seems to have stepped up to the plate. The reason I'm not sure if thats good is because hes still not a great quality defender even at his best. I say fair play to him but still think he needs to be replaced by alex or similar. and lets go for defoe!!

I thought exactly the same, but his language was a lot worse than that. ;D I got a text during the game, it said, do you think he has a 14 day cooling off period, looks like he wishes he has! Seemed about right really but then, in hindsight, he always looks like that.

Have to say I didn't hear the boos last night, mind you it is a long way from LR to Holland. The only thing I noted was a slight rumble and tremor just before the final whistle (but that was probably klr imploding when SWP was named as MOM......)

There are unfortunately a lot of so called fans who are just merchant bankers full stop. I think even tho it was a dire performance we still got the win . I know it was a defender but who cares a lot of good defenders score occasionally . The team were saying they needed a win to give em a boost !! well lets see on saturday...........because if we do lose because of a lacklustre showing they wont be able to use that old turkey again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we get to ( hopefully ) stuff the toilet up the road again on the 28th. Happy days
