Can someone please tell me what the hell Paddy Kenny was doing when Best scored?? That was an embarrassing piece of goalkeeping. How can you not only dive that early but also in the complete opposite direction to where the ball went. It was pretty obvious where Best was going to put that shot.
Maybe MH is right to want to buy a replacement for him??

MH is spot on, derry , paddy and hill should have gone with NW, thanks for a great season last year but they've nowhere near good enough at this level. How swansea and norwich are doing so well I'll never know!

I was complaining about the same when we played spurs. That's just how Paddy plays/is. I guess he can't change his instincts. He's a 'guesser' kind of keeper.

I'm baffled how anyone can criticise Paddy for the goal. Best may have did him with the eyes, but, all goalkeepers have to guess when the striker is that close. Even if he had 'guessed' right (or left as it were) there is absolutely no way he could have reached it as he was in the process of spreading himself and consequently his weight position would have restricted his stretch.
How about questioning how Luke Young was done again. He seems to have been seen as a success story, but, look at how many goals that we have conceded have come from his wing.
Quite happy to blame Paddy for coming a flapping though.
And who's better out there....I've just come out in a cold sweat with the thought of Ben Foster!!

Nope, just straight in the bottom corner Nope Went through Ferdinand's legs. Ferdinand slid across to block the shot and it went through his legs. With Young also wrong footed it meant Kenny only had a small gap to look through. |

I do rate Paddy as a keeper but I would like to see him lose a few pound.
He is a bit on the tubby side

I just fear that Paddy is losing it a bit. He doesn't seem to have that sharp edge any more and this is a bit worrying.

But the blame lies with LY should have showed best outside, but to be fair was a great bit of skill. Paddys a top keeper, i just dont think hes fully fit at the mo. |

You cant really blame Paddy for our defeats this season, and havent seen him make a howler yet. Just sort out defence,midfield,attack, much more important than getting a new keeper. |

I think the fault is with Hill who dropped a lot deeper than the rest of the defence & kept Best onside. Young had to backtrack to get goalside & that enabled Best to square him up & go past on the inside. |

ManU keeper De Geia is worse also, made many clangers this season.
Paul Robinson is crap, and so is Jaaskelainen.

Not crucial for this season as hitman states , need replacement for Faurs , another Striker and two defenders sharpish and Tarbs back !
