That was quick! QPR frontman eyes Bees deal Jan 19 2012 By Jacob Murtagh/Fulham Chronicle FORMER QPR striker Antonio German is training with Brentford's development squad in a bid to earn a deal at Griffin Park. The 20-year-old frontman had his contract cancelled at Rangers earlier in the season after failing to force his way into Neil Warnock's first-team plans. German spent a spell with Conference outfit Stockport County before Christmas, scoring three times in 10 starts at Edgeley Park. However, he is now trying his luck with Brentford's youngsters as he looks for a return to league football. And as they joined QPR, they proclaimed: "Free at last. Free at last. Thank God Almighty, we are free at last"

Probably a good move for him. Thought he was pretty far from the finished article when he played for us but maybe some time in the lower leagues will sharpen him up. He seemed strong on the ball but (in my opinion) had a pretty shocking first touch. Getting to that "make or break" age now - best of luck to him.
