The "Sousa Out" campaign was pretty much the work of one man! I remember starting a poll on WATRB a few weeks before Sousa-so-strangely-spoke-to-a-total-stranger, to the effect should the person to leave be Sousa or Paladini. An overwhelming majority on WATRB, voted for Paladini leaving! Sousa Flashback! qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=10866

The difference, I think and truly believe. Is that now, IF Warnock meets his fate: It won't be the cowardly stab in the back that Sousa and Holloway, in a different way, experienced. But a man-to-man action and decision. That may not matter THAT much. But it does to me.

nice to know that we have no board member this time sending messages to his minions to create a campaign.
but it sure feels like they are still here.

How should we start one! I guess just change nationality and name of current manager "[T]he Portugal defender was wanted for £300,000 for which Sousa would have got a cut."

where were the boo boys when we were winning games ? dont recall to many shouts of our manager is inept, tactics all wrong, no idea what he's doing. Umm they were probably happy that we were doing well and playing well?! Why would they be doing the things you suggest? I'm not sure you make a particularly valid point? and no we are not out the cup, we just managed to scrape a 1-1 draw with a league 1 side having played our best available team. If you don't think that's any reason to be concerned then I envy your positive outlook

I think we're ALL concerned. Very concerned. And no one thinks Warnock is without flaws. Just not sure that axing Warnock and replacing with ? is the best thing for QPR

i dont understand how getting paid 20,30,40 or even 45 thousand a week cannot motivate players to play to their ability. have they not realised how lucky they are to receive the wages they do when others are out of work,on pay freezes for years etc.
As a favourite comedian of mine says if i were getting paid that i would be sha..ing the ref, fans and opposition etc. How can it be that it cannot be spotted on the training ground during the week their are plenty of young players chomping at the bit that would show obvious passion that you show when trying to prove yourself. Lets be honest yes they are not proven and are inexperienced but could they do any worse,at least as supporters we would see 11 players giving their all rather than 11 overpaid, over indulged supposed professionals with an i cannot be arsed attitude because i will get paid anyway.
Not good enough anymore and this is down to selection as much as anything else, they should get their full pay for winning and have it halved if they dont, the other half could go towards transfer money. lol we could have afforded tevez by now.

First of all I have to say (sarcastically) how great it is to have yet another thinly disguised whingeing thread!
I am totally disgusted at those supposed fans who boo the team and management and want to throw out NW without having a suitable replacement. You will have heard me say before that I have lived through times which have been infinitely worse than we have this year. Always, however, we tried to cheer our team on and encourage them even in the face of the inevitable. We stood on the terraces in cold and pouring rain and kept shouting and willing the Rs on regardless. Sure we were disappointed when things went wrong or it was a lousy season but we still came back full of enthusiasm and cheered for the lads (and the manager and chairman). The attitude of the boo boys appals me. It achieves nothing other than to further demoralise the team and if that is all you can do then please do what several thousand so called 'loyal' supporters will do if (when) we are relegated. Sod off and support somebody else who is always guaranteed to be in the top ten because the faithful supporters don't want you!
I guess that the majority of those who are behaving in this unsportsmanlike and disgusting manner are many years younger than me. Most of you have a lot of time to see Rangers recover and build in future years. I may not have many years left now so possibly don't have that to look forward to but that will not stop me from supporting my team.
I apologise for swearing and hope that doesn't offend; it's not something you often see me do on this board but I am at present so totally disgusted with this unproductive and negative attitude. Mods, if this message causes offence, don't hesitate to put the block on me; I will understand and go quietly.

Tonight many of the players come over to applaud the fans and and a few thousand or so including me and my son stayed to clap them back, even though we both felt it was a poor performance.
The one's who bood prob did not stay.

I agree with a lot of what you say Gramps and please don't think I'm being ageist because I am no youngster myself. The difference between 'the old days' and today is purely about expectation based on the huge salary gulf that exists between the players and the man on the street.
Fans are paying huge sums to turn up and support their team and the players are able to lead celebrity lifestyles, with this comes a much greater level of expectation from 'us' the fans. I sang my head off all afternoon for the boys but I couldn't help coming away feeling disappointed yesterday. The boo boys rightly or wrongly are venting their frustration and making their point.

I don't recall hearing booing, blimey, we almost tore the roof off that place when we levelled. The premier league song was sung by almost every fan there, humour and irony in one. The warnock sort it out song didn't last long and was only sung mainly by the group standing behind the goal on the concourse. No bar open at halftime, freezing cold ground stuck in the middle of an open air shopping mall, give me Loftus Road every day! Our highlight was going to the pub nickwwfc suggested and the guv'nor of the pub giving us a lift to the ground, don't know many that would do that! Also met nickwwfc after the game in that self same pub. ;D Still never ceases to amaze me how few Rangers fans that you meet use or even know about the messageboards!

The Club Twitter Account has 18,000+ Followers. But any of the message board (or QPR Fan Twitter Accounts) including this one, far fewer.
On the bright side: Room for growth!

Must admit, we weren't too impressed when we got there, about six people in there! Few of our mates turned up, had one and went down the road. Then some others came in got a drink and joined me outside for a cig. They said they'd left the other pub coz they couldn't get a drink. When I saw some of the lads in the ground they were virtually sober as they couldn't get near the bar, oh how we laughed. I laughed even more when they were arguing with the stewards who were telling them th bar wouldn't open at halftime as they didn't expect so many of us!!! ;D Thought it was funny when a steward came up to us after halftime and said can you take your seats, there's no standing on the concourse. I pointed to our singers and said, now go and tell that lot the same thing! ;D Edit: Hair of the dog would have done you the world of good mike, trust me.

There was a lot of what you said that I agree with.
However, it may be true that when you started watching Rangers there wern't any boo boys. It certainly isn't true for when I started in the late 60's!
The Rangers support IMO has never been shy of turning on the team or especially on specfiic individuals. Remember how much vitriol Alan Wilkes suffered?
I can't see that it can do anything good for the team & may well harm confidence, but you will not change human nature.
Personally if a player is giving 100% he should never be subjected to abuse whether he is good enough or not,
