that tweet is a immediate statement rory, long term future for the club is not.
if he meant in 5 years time why make that statement.?
tells me he will sack warnock, and then if the new manager is not going to keep us up then tf is off.
why the f*ck at QPR, WHY?

do you think by step down he means sell?
im confused by all this and shocked.
how things change in a week.
i think we as a club need to stop worrying and have a bit more confidence. it seems the fans and players are all looking at the bad run as we are simply not good enough. lets look it as a bad run of form, walk out and play the good football we have and with a bit of confidence we will score goals.
i swear i need to stop reading message boards. they just upset me

Maybe if he leaves he will sell his shares to Amit??
I really hope he doesn't leave. If he does leave because we get relegated then it shows he ever really cared for the club in the first place but I would like to think he will stay.

Should tweet and email Ian Taylor - and maybe others at QPR... With a mass following, I'm not sure Fernandes will/can read his tweets except on a very ad hoc basis.
(I also just sent out general Tweet saying Fans wondering what was meant. (Not that Fernandes follows or reads me. But others do) And others will be asking the same question

Just now...Tony Fernandes Tweets twitter.com/#!/tonyfernandes I will leave no stone unturned to make qpr a success. But if I fail I have to go. I will give it 150 percent effort. Its important to note no one job is safe. Results are key. If I don't deliver I would be the first to step down as chairman. We owe it to all the fans. Good money is paid and results are key. Guys at qpr. There is no freeze of cash. Don't listen to ambiguous press reports. We are disappointed where we are in the league. This is a journey not s sprint. Along the way we learn. But we continue to develop and along the way hard decisions need to be made. But we never stop moving. Never. I see this as a little dig at Warnock.Like saying I'm giving it hundred % and if I fail I will walk.So before that happens No job is safe here.Ive allready laid out good money and results are key.In other words Neil's job is on the line..

That's pretty much how I saw it, as well. On the other hand.... qblockpete tweets " qprreport everything these people say gets ultra scrutinised and fuels you with too much ammunition"

it sort of echos wat cameron said
'too many tweets make a twat'
not that TF is a twat at all but tweets are like pasing statements to them but over analysed by us

Well his comments are certainly being picked by all the media (even as they highlight different aspects of what he tweeted)

Agree with what he says about The FA Cup, its important to get a win under our belts regardless of whether it is against MK Dons or not, we need to win a match.

I think people scrutinize things to much I just read it as having a plan that if it doesnt work out and he feels that he is not doing things for the best of the club then he would back down. I think with regards to Neil he is saying that us as fans deserve 100% from everyone at the club and if he feels that we are not being given that then decisions would be made as to whether we would be better off trying a different route. I may be wrong but i really dont think he is saying if we are relegated then he's off. (at least i hope not )

And Given that a couple of months ago, Warnock was talking about actually EXTENDING his time at QPR...shows how things have changed

I think things have definately changed even in the last couple of days, 3 more points on the table & we wouldnt be having this discussion, shows how cutthroat it is at this level.

you can bet youre bottom dollar tony is no fool and is well advised, add that to the twats twitting and he knows damn well that our old hero warnock has made some horrendous judgements this season. and his player purchase record is probably second only to king kennys in its sheer crapness. sad but true, bit i think a change is soon gonna come.

Could QPR have beaten Norwich? Of course? If Barton hadnt been sent off, for starters...If Sunderland hadnt appointed O'Neil, 3 more points, 2 more points at Swansea....A win against Newcastle... And so forth. Of course we're in danger of relegation. But I've experienced poor QPR teams....The margin is very very narrow in our case, between where we may be headed and where we could be.

if fernandez does sell up what would be your opinions on the man?
he made no secret that qpr in the premiership were are great advertising tool for his other ventures during his many interviews. to thinks some thought he actually loved this club because he lived on the uxbridge road many years ago.
my opinion on him is that he is an honest and straight talking dude. he takes chances and some you win and some you lose.
it will be sad to see him go.
thanks for this season tony but you have no chance with warnock in this league.

Not one person was calling for Colin's head after ten games, now after twenty it's kin meltdown, there's eighteen to go yet. Whether you like or loathe him, the whole club needs support not a fractured fanbase with whinging and moaning. I wonder what's happened to some of our fans I really do, get the feeling some are supporting the wrong club!!!
