You can't beat winning no matter who against, if warnock does throw the game with around 7-8k fans there, he will have hell to pay. Agree Scarlet and there was Warnocks promise after Port Vale that he would play a full strength team in the FA Cup and take it serious.

We should bury AC 12-0. Restore our pride. Our troops will be chuffed with their power and
ability. They will see that winning is more fun than losing, and start enjoying playing for the Rs.

Charge of the Rs Brigade.
1. Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. "Forward, the Light Brigade! "Charge for the guns!" he said: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.
2. "Forward, the Light Brigade!" Was there a man dismay'd? Not tho' the soldier knew Someone had blunder'd: Theirs not to make reply, Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do and die: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.
3. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell Rode the six hundred.
4. Flash'd all their sabres bare, Flash'd as they turn'd in air, Sabring the gunners there, Charging an army, while All the world wonder'd: Plunged in the battery-smoke Right thro' the line they broke; Cossack and Russian Reel'd from the sabre stroke Shatter'd and sunder'd. Then they rode back, but not Not the six hundred.
5. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon behind them Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell, They that had fought so well Came thro' the jaws of Death Back from the mouth of Hell, All that was left of them, Left of six hundred.
6. When can their glory fade? O the wild charge they made! All the world wondered. Honor the charge they made, Honor the Light Brigade, Noble six hundred.

Yeah i would like a cup run, winning against franchise fc on saturday is a must, going out early for donkeys years didnt exactly propelle us up the league after, so cant see how having a run can do us harm, and winning a cup not an achievment, bet old warhorse fergie dont think like that, in fact no one should think like that, is that how we are to teach our kids? dont worry about getting any medals who wants them a, do me a favour.

Don't bet on this year being any different in the Cup.
NW's priorities lay "elsewhere" last season and you can bet things are no different this year. Or next year. Or the year after that. etc.

Whose up for a cup run?
I am. Will give the team some confidence and fans something to cheer.
Having said that, I wouldn't trade the FA Cup for a place in the Prem next season!!

I have said elsewhere that a good cup run could see us ending up with more injuries. Can well do without that in our present situation. I won't have a problem in us going out against big name opposition in the fourth round but would like to get past MK Dons. Maude: Further to your previous comment to Rory. If we get past the semi and into the final, I'll share the cost of his tickets with you then we can all go together!
