Probably already been said but I can't wade through to find out but I see from the offish that Cisse has PVM's number 23. Apologies if I am repeating old news. QPR Norway asked if we change our sponsored player from PVM to Cisse. The answer: Very exciting it buzzing here at Loftus Road If Cisse signs for us I will change the sponsorship over straight away for you. Let's keep our fingers crossed. www.fikas.no/~aklo/Ingoyweb/phpBB/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=74906&start=140

Don't think we can cpr, there are rules in place about two different players using the same squad number in the same season. Otherwise Taiwo would get Orr's number 2 but Orr has played for us this season. So the squad numbers are set in stone when the 25 are not, makes no sense!

Ok so apparently Wigan have been on the phone to us enquiring about DJ Campbell. Could we do a DJ + £3m deal for Rodallega

Sometimes squad numbers are even part of the actual transfer deal! When Shearer went to Newcastle, Sir Les had to give up his number as Shearer had made getting it part of the deal.

I didnt know home grown players dont have to be english! Apparently if you have played 3 seasons in england or wales before your 21 you count as home grown. Do we have anyone who qualifies?

Ok so apparently Wigan have been on the phone to us enquiring about DJ Campbell. Could we do a DJ + £3m deal for Rodallega Or Moses? One would assume that once the Zamora deal is done that the intention was to finish there but if we get enquiries for our players and we can do a deal for someone like Hugo or Moses we will try and do it. DJ hasn't had much luck at QPR injury, lack of form and now change of management. I think he is a good player but if there is a deal to be done then why not use it to our advantage and strengthen elsewhere. Right now (assuming Zamora signs) DJ is challenging with Bothroyd and Macheda for a spot on the bench. You'd think Cisse and Zamora will start with Helguson on the bench but if Hughes can't find a place for Taraabt in the side then it's likely he'll get a place on the bench. Mackie likewise if Traore starts left wing. Whichever combination of those mentioned start the others will go on the bench which means it's likely that Bothroyd might not even get a place on the bench let alone DJ.

If Zamora is going to cost anything like 9 mill and wants 90,000 a week then I don't think he should be signed. He's no youngster and not worth that sort of salary.
The other consideration is the bad feeling in the dressing room where there will be players getting only half that amount or less. Tarbs will not be a happy bunny for one!

Assuming Zamora signs - now you might not agree with this starting XI but I assume the 18 involved will be:
First XI: Kenny, Young, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Taiwo, SWP, Barton, Diakete, Traore, Cisse, Zamora Subs: Cerny, Hall, Gabbidon, Buzsaky, Smith, Taraabt, Helguson
This would mean that Hill, DJ, Bothroyd, Mackie, Macheda and Derry as well as many others are those to miss out. Add Murphy and maybe Ramage and Hulse and that's your 25. (26 listed but Macheda is under 21 so wouldn't need to be named). No need to name Faurlin due to his injury.
Therefore you are still looking at the likes of Dyer, Perone, Ephraim, Agyemang, Sh*ttu and Cook as still not getting a look in even though we've let Rowlands, Orr, Connolly and PVM leave.

I think the fee's being banded about in the press are probably (and hopefully) wide of the mark. I reckon it will be more like £4m and about 45k a week.

That first 11. Kenny is the only player in it from our championship winning team. Has any promoted team ever done that before in their first season in the top flight? Considering the likes of Norwich and Swansea are doing so well with still a lot of their championship players. Makes you realise what an achievement it was that we got promoted.

I Would keep DJ and Bothroyd for now and Hogan but the 7 above can go in my eyes , all given us good service sometime thro there career Borrowdale and Hulse apart.
