Doncaster Rovers have shown their commitment to working in the community by topping the league for community player involvement ahead of all 92 league clubs including the Premier League.
Doncaster Rovers Football Club have come out on top for player involvement in the 2010/2011 season with players involved in the following projects - Education (128), Health (80), Social Inclusion (52), Anti Racism/Racial Awareness (62), Girls/Women, Soccer Schools (16), Disabilities (35), Presentations (163), Match Day Events (26), Training Ground (336), Other (Charity, hospital visits etc.) (306). Doncaster Rovers player involvement totalled 1228 visits; Chelsea closely followed this with 1066 visits and the closest Championship club was Cardiff City with 970 visits.

Mark Wilson and Doncaster Rovers FC
Mark Wilson, James Coppinger and James O'Connor were highlighted for their initiative in player fundraising (NSPCC/Inca Trail). James Chambers, George Friend, Mustapha Dumbuya, Robbie Clarke, Paul Keegan and Gary Woods were all highlighted for their contribution to Show Racism the Red Card.
Rovers have continued this season with the same commitment to the community with recent visits to local schools such as Windhill School, Mexborough and Stirling School, Doncaster. The management team at Rovers are fully committed to the continued interactivity with the community.
