And given that these accounts ended May 2008, before all the summer spending on the ground; players, wages, etc...Presumably we're in the hole considerably deeper, today. Unless I'm misunderstanding something?

What's a little hard to understand: We went into Administration and were relegated...and we cut back and fought our way back...We always had the ABC 10 Million Loan over us...But as I recall, in the Bill Power first year, our other debt was small....Then the debt got bigger and bigger and bigger....And so we have these new people come in...And forget whether they've got the money or not, our annual loss has gotten massive. And that's the accounts showing as of the end of the 2007/08 season. Just think what we've spent since then - on and off the field. (Sponsorship increased yes. But much depends on promotion)
