I take it it's a loan. Traore didn't play too well yesterday but neither did any of the Arsenal players, Warnock will sort him out.

Armand Mohamed Traoré (born 8 October 1989) commonly known as Armand Traoré, is a French-born Senegalese footballer who plays for Arsenal. He has represented France at under-19 and under-21 levels, but has since opted to represent his parents' native country, Senegal, at the senior level. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armand_Traoréwon't count towards 25 as he's only 21

Great news all round then. We get a young defender on loan who hopefully falls in love with QPR and then we can sign him next summer. Then we get a young fullback who we can develop for the future.

SSN just said permanent move. The only thing that bugs me about him is yesterday, he was dreadful and was even laughing when Man Utd went 8-2 up.

also to add, at the end of yesterdays match he was shaking hands with a great big smile on his face. surely to have 8 goals go in against you, you wouldnt be walking round the pitch beaming.
sign up onough!

He is a very good player - ignore yesterday's result.

To be fair I think yesterdays result was more to do with Wengers tactics rather than Traore, who was the better out of the 4 defenders for Arsenal.

Not sure about his performance and attitude yesterday bit strange to have played him knowing he was off but i guess thats just the way arsenal are at this time. I always thought he was a good player must admit i thought he was quicker than he looked yesterday but with young and nani running at you i think most would struggle. Hope its permanent i saw £1.5 million mentioned before don't see any point in using 1 of the 2 avaliable loans from premier clubs for him when we may be able to pick up better at the last min

Another thing about yesterday is that Arsene had to play him due to injuries and suspensions so Traore's wind probably wasn't on the game. He would have known he was about to join us.

Think he had no choice but to play him. Presumably players coming back from injury/ban/buying to fill in for him when he is ours?

www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_7136820,00.html Sky Sports sources understand Arsenal defender Armand Traore is to undergo a medical at Queens Park Rangers on Monday. The 21-year-old is a product of the Gunners' academy system and appeared set for a bright future at Emirates Stadium when he made the breakthrough into the senior set-up. He has, however, lost his way somewhat over recent years and has slowly slipped down the pecking order. Traore has taken in loan spells at Portsmouth and Juventus in an effort to find games, with Arsene Wenger overlooking him on a regular basis. The Senegal international has struggled to force his way into the Gunners' plans again this season, despite their well-publicised injury and suspension problems. Talks He was handed a rare start against Manchester United on Sunday, but failed to catch the eye as Arsenal were hammered 8-2 at Old Trafford. Less than 24 hours on from that humiliating display and it now appears that Traore could be on his way out of the Emirates. QPR are busily bolstering their ranks before the transfer window closes and it is understood that they are closing on a deal for the French-born left-back. Reports suggest that Traore is at Loftus Road for talks and to prove his fitness to his prospective employers.

Awesome signing if true & exactly the type we need.
We also need to keep Orr & Hill in our squad as back up.
Wow, its looking good isnt it ?
