we had some good players in action tonight, this loss is very poor but so was last yeasrs v port vale, last year we then got the result on the sat so i wont care about result tonight if we get result at wigan on saturday, but looking at poor game tonight would surprise me

League One, and we fcuked it up. Yes, I know everybody else is happy but I'm not. Edit: I'll get over it though, I've had a lot of practice.

Out of the players we had on the pitch tonight, Adel, Jay, Hogan and Connolly probably had their mind on Saturday instead of a IMO pointless cup game. Even if we had have won and gone on a little cup run we would have been beaten eventually and it would have hurt even more to be knocked out in the quarter or semi finals. It's good that we just got it out of the way quickly.

Not because we lost, I'm used to that, but we should have at least made a game of it. Tonights team should donate a weeks wages to the Community/Tiger Cubs as a fine.

Agree. Should have been a walkover. Only posetive is that Adel got 90 min., which he needed and that sais a lot.

Right here are some positives from tonight - Harriman and Andrade sounded like they played really well and got high praises from the commentators. Hewitt got some time on the pitch. Adel and Jay both 90 minutes, more match fitness.

Well I'm afraid to tell you there aren't many 'true professionals' out there nowadays. Just ask Norwich and Swansea. Both got beaten as well. Even if we had lost to a League 2 team IMO it's good to get this out the way.

Just sitting on the tube back from Loftus Road.
Shame the players didn't bother turning up tonight.
Lacklustre doesn't begin to describe it.
Roll on Saturday.

As a QPR fan tweeted just now, Rochdale should be embarrassed they only scored 2 against us in a cup game....

Why do they even bother to play these games, or charge admission. Thought a lo of these players were gone.

I started writing something derogatory about AT but stopped myself in time and decided to sleep on it! Think I'll wait and see all the excuses for him first.

Strange , because Tarbs and Both were both hit by the virus Saturday , so you would have thought rest these 2 and keep them fresh for Saturday and we did the reverse.
