Forget style of football/or recent run of results which arguably could lead any manager to be ousted:...
But: If QPR had been winning and even playing beautifully- but hadn't been playing Briatore's signings: What would he have done then?
Is it an ego issue? Do "his" signings have to play because it reflects well on him?
What role did he have in the choice of players brought to QPR in the summer?
What committments has Briatore made to play the players we signed? At least Parejo and Ledesma; Clearly not re Gorkss!
Does he want Ainsworth cos thinks QPR will be most successful under Ainsworth; he's the best manager around, or because with Ainsworth, Briatore will continue to be "involved" in team selection?
Those kind of questions are interesting both for the present and the future.

And of course not forgetting Briatore, has some other pressing commitments and interests - and QPR doesn't rank #1 among those. He also spends an hour a day on QPR.
