Why the new server? Was it too small. Or more demand that you expected, etc. (I might not understand the answer, of course)!

Bit of both
It's a very intensive messageboard resources wise. And we've had more online than all messageboards combined which was a shock. (adding up online and guests from dot.org, LFW , here, lsa, indyrs and fans.net we've averaged 4 more viewing than all of those together)
I think the games have kept people online a lot as well maybe?
God knows, so to cope with the people we've moved it to a new server, else if it gets busier it will just crash non stop

"we've had more online than all messageboards combined" I don't believe you. no BS probably like a freak show everyone wants a gander lol. You can see who is online, posters and guests at all times on all sites. Over the last 4 days on 14 occasions dot.org had more online (guests and members) than us but, at any other time the combined total of all sites has been less. Not a brag, like i said, its new so people are just having a gander i suppose, i'm sure it will drop and we'll be on a par with the other sites. Besides, its not about numbers, its about people using it. This site % wise is probably one of the best in a members to posters ratio. LFW is probably the worst - i blame idiots like bazwot for that - putting people off posting ;D

;D Edit: The above was in response to funky by the way. "LFW is probably the worst - i blame idiots like bazwot for that - putting people off posting Took you a while to catch up, call yourself a mod? The envy of LFW is still evident then. Still won't set foot on there scott, has a very bad rep mate.

And a response to my question: Are we visitors to the games counted in this? no thats separate, if someone is in the arcade for a while they disappear from the stats.

Smoking is the leading cause of statistics. Smoking pays for nurses, without it we'd be doomed

Well why you're Scott: I've taken advantage of the "Invisible" Option on the WATRB. Yet I see I'm listed as visiting WATRB... With a little asterick . "QPR Report*,l Doesn't that defeat the purpose of an invisible option?
(Now I recall that one of the (many) "critiques" against me was I took advantage of this option on the old WATRB. But if it's not going to work, why bother to have - which is also what I asked Pete at the time)

Thanks. It's no big deal. But was curious. I know there are some who are OUTRAGED that I afford myself of that privilege. But hey!
So assuming your stats are accurate, to what do you attribute the high popularity of the WATRB?

So assuming your stats are accurate, to what do you attribute the high popularity of the WATRB? You're one of many that are invisible in fairness. No issue with that from me. I know guys whose boss is a ranger, uses boards, know his staff do and they dont want to be seen being on it all the time. Popularity? Dunno, I like to think its down to the amazing board design ;D ;D ;D ;D Honestly? i think we have a lot that have found us via other means such as facebook. Also, i've spoken in person to lots and lots of Rs that dont post on boards to try and get them involved.

Chuckle, as you know, I don't fivaguck, all a good laugh and a bit of fun as far as I'm concerned. As long as it doesn't get nasty or personal, it's all good in my opinion. Have you paid that eighty quid by the way? Edit: Sorry, that's a snapshot of the moment which proves what exactly?
