WOW. So what does this mean. Who's filming this? Is it the PR department? And what's the reason for putting this out?

www.adhocfilms.com/projects/wwf-uk/Various Photos - www.adhocfilms.com/projects/the-4-year-plan/ The Four Year Plan Format: Documentary Client: Date: July 2011 Having secured funds from private equity investors, for several years we’ve been following the incredible highs and lows of Queens Park Rangers Football Club. Saved from oblivion by billionaire backers, our cameras have been granted enviable access from inside the boardroom, locker room and sidelines where we have witnessed one of modern football’s most extraordinary stories. A genuinely compelling documentary and one which will appeal to non-footballers as much as ardent fans, the film offers commentary not just on professional sport and business… but also the precarious financial world as a backdrop. The film is just wrapping up in post-production. Follow our Twitter feed for updates and log on soon for exclusive clips and interviews with the filmmakers. Follow our video diary as the red carpet rolls out as the film is premiered later this year.

Cannot get it open but to original site on google, where these two or three indendent film makers have an opening in Covent Garden . Why QPR?, maybe one is a fan. Anyway the background music of a Requiem Mass with choral support maybe Mozart, is more compelling than the other tripe. To make them look human, or fans. Music more important than words imo, unfortunateley in computer communications we cant do music yet.
Well I see Mac has it opened and talks about the finances and precariousness etc. Sort of surprised that they would let them do this as it really shows them not in a good light. Doubt if they got permission, but they dont fight things like this.

No, no, I have seen it, but couldnt get the transfer then I see you already had, but it is amazing in a way how they captured these moments, especially the managers. They must be very close to QPR in some professional way IMO.

He is the chief whipping post for Flav, they talk Italian, and he is the Kings clown, or sidekick fool that amuses the king and also can come up with an occasional brilliant comment. all Kings, dictators, Leaders had their clown. Kruschev was Stalins clown, for example. Its for his personal need, and also has a bit of the consigliere function in a minor degree for things that he can do with all his football contacts.

Health warning!
QPR is a client of Ad Hoc
Ad Hoc also did the 'triumphant' viral video for the season ticket sales in which case the documentary, I'm afraid to say, is likely to have a 'happy ending' in May 2011.
Will it reveal the lost logo and Jude the Cat, the sackings of loyal staff, chinese punch ups, Ray and Kiyan - or is it just a 'triumph over adversity' panegyric?
Will it epilogue the season with the Summer of Discontent; cancelled parade, ticket hikes, Bernie's contemptuous comments at Silverstone, Neil's frustrations, the gagging order, no transfer budget, goodbye Amit?
Hmmm..

On Ad Hoc, if u didn't already see it:
We are currently in the exciting process of taking our first feature length documentary ‘The Four Year Plan’ into the finishing stage. We are priming it for a September Premiere in London. The trailer will be posted on this site very soon… check back for the update…

The one thing that you get from the video trailer...The sense of Briatore actually maybe knowing what he was doing. If only...what those glimpses...and what he said when he took over had actually happened.
The idea of saving money by Flavio. I mean Jeeze...Our loses shot up under him....And the bad signings/wages under him (and his man)

Judging by the trailer, I think a massive pinch of salt will be required for the viewing of this documentary, but interesting to see the ego's involved etc & it does look like a riveting documentary.
But as for it being the true story of what has really been going on ? lol

When you pay for a film to be made, they will make the film you want to be made.
Everything said in that film was said knowing the cameras were there.
They should have made it at Norwich, it would have been twice as exciting (2 promotions in 4 years).
Straight from the Goebbels school of film making.

I think it will be fascinating - even if it has a "perspective."
And anyway you never know. If they spent a lot of time, filming. After a while, tendancy to forget they're there.
(Would be interesting if Club Officials had any "veto" say re any film shown)

Fascinating stuff. And good filmmaking, judging from the trailer.
I don't know how and why 'The Four Year Planners' hired these guys to film behind-the-scenes QPR (perhaps they were primarily hired for something else -- like promotional stuff, etc, and ended up having their own secret agenda once they understood the potential), but thank the Lord for it.
It's one thing reading something in papers, on messageboards, hearing rumours, but it's a completely different stuff to actually hear the voices, see emotions and witness the body language. Outside of the press conference box.
And I love how they unmask not only the three usual suspects, but our very own semi-heros (Bhatia, Saksena, et al) as well.
I wonder what will be their (legal?) reaction??
Can't wait...

It's like mockumentary sans the 'mock'!
"I want the names who is booing me... or I sell the club! You decide!"
"-Gianni, this year we don't scream at the players... -No... -Be positive..."
That's gold. I'm in line of buying the DVD!

Wonder is Giuseppi Fraudilini & Free Seat Pete's most notorious collaboration aka Operation Smear Paulo Sousa is featured in the documentary ?
No, thought not.
