I reckon it is a certainty that we will lose AT - when, foir whom and to who I don't know but I reckon we have a year at most (probably 6 months tops if I was being truthful).
I can also say this with certainty as well - whatever money QPR makes from the deal very little, if any, will be used to develop the team. Sure we may get the odd 30 plus year old Italian midfielder and a couple of other dodgy deals (but with nice agency fees attached) but nothing to set the world alight.
Most of that money will go anywhere but to NW (assuming he is still around) to spend.

Busy, Busy Agent! Goal.com
Atletico Madrid meet with agent of QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt - report The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to a number of European clubs due to a contract dispute with the recently promoted side leaving his Loftus Road future in doubt2 Jul 2011 : Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in Queens Park Rangers midfielder Abel Taarabt, with the player's agent having reportedly been spotted in the Spanish capital. The 22-year-old was named Championship Player of the Season in 2010-11, leading the London side to promotion to the Premier League, scoring 19 goals and assisting in 23 more in 44 games. Despite this a contract dispute related to money has thrown the Moroccan's future into doubt, with a Paris St Germain thought to have made a £10 million bid for the attacking midfielder. However, AS reports that the player's representative was seen at the Vicente Calderon yesterday in a meeting with Jose Caminero, the La Liga side's sporting director. A fee of around £10.8m million is reportedly needed to activate a release clause in the former Tottenham man's contract as speculation persists over his future at Loftus Road. www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2011/07/02/2557314/atletico-madrid-meet-with-agent-of-qpr-midfielder-adel
