Looking at James' link, it would be Hayes and Yeading but they are playing on the Sunday, defeating the object. I shall search lower down the leagues methinks. ;D

cpr - don't write off H&Y just yet. They are big supporters of NLD and will offer significant discount to Rs fans (probably 50% off admission). Besides, playing on the Sunday allows you to take in two games over the weekend!
PS - you probably noticed from the map, but Hayes & Yeading are playing all their home games at Woking's ground this season.

sussexr - don't worry, they're upgrading Yeading's old stadium and will be heading back to play there next season as far as I know.

The match of the day is at Stourbridge as Chesham are there, but I don't expect many of our board to select that game!
Many thanks James for the list of matched we could attend free, but please everyone if you take advantage of this could you make a small donation to the club?
All clubs at non-league level lose money & they need every penny they can get. Also I feel that free admission is rather taking the piss form their regular supporters.
Good luck to all that go to matches & I hope you enjoy the experience.

Again, see - www.nonleagueday.co.uk/"About Non League Day Non-League Day is the brainchild of James Doe, a lifelong football fan, supporter of QPR and follower of Harrow Borough FC. In James' own words: “With England playing on Friday 2nd September and the Premier League and Championship taking a week off, I urge all fans of the big clubs to get out and watch their local Non-League teams instead on Saturday 3rd September 2011! Given the current financial climate, clubs outside the football league need all the support they can get, so your presence at a game will be genuinely appreciated. With tickets and refreshments at a fraction of the cost, what's stopping you!” Non-League Day is a celebration of the semi-professional and amateur game and a chance for fans of bigger clubs to experience football at a level they may be otherwise unfamiliar with. Moreover, it is a chance to shine a light on the hundreds of clubs in this country who are almost exclusively volunteer run, and do so much good for the local community, be it through coaching, fund raising or providing opportunities for local people. This year we aim to make the day bigger and better than ever. Macmillan Cancer Support have come on board as our official charity, ex-England international Chris Waddle is our official ambassador, and we have now secured the backing of the All Party Football Group in Parliament. In addition, Blue Square have organised a special three-game hop, with countless other clubs running special events all over the country. The website has been designed as an interactive resource for fans across the country to discover their local team, learn more about the non-league game, and keep abreast of developments as they happen. If supporters or clubs wish to submit news, articles, photos or videos relating to their plans on the day, or non-league football in general, then please feel free to get in touch via the contact page. We will try to publicise as many stories as possible. Additionally, we welcome any feedback on the content of the site. It is designed by the fans, for the fans, so your thoughts and opinions are invaluable."

Hello all,
Just a little plug if I may for Hendon's match at home to Lewes tomorrow afternoon (Sunday). We play at Vale Farm, ground sharing with Wembley FC, about 5-10 mins walk from Sudbury Town tube station and 10-15 mins walk from North Wembley on the Overground. We are offering anyone who holds a season ticket or ticket stub from this season from a Football League or Premier League club entry for just £5. Under 16s are £1 as well. If you fancy it, we'd love to have you along. There may be a couple of names on show you might recognise.
Many thanks, and hope you stay up this season,
John

Bump: Today is Non League Day West London Sport
Non-League Day: your chance to support our area’s clubs
05/09/2013 By James Doe, Non-League Day Founder This Saturday sees the fourth edition of Non-League Day, a national campaign set up by myself, a QPR fan, back in 2010 to promote semi-professional and grassroots football. It takes place on an international weekend when there are no Premier League or Championship fixtures, thus allowing us the chance to elevate the country’s smaller sides into the limelight. Finances at such clubs are tight and a lot of hard work by thousands of volunteers goes into making them tick – and NLD is as much about celebrating them as the football that’s on show. Many also have thriving youth set-ups and are potentially a great focal point for their local communities, which many people are unaware of. Every year we try and grow the campaign and see what we can do differently to raise the profile of the event. QPR’s Austin has given his support. Probably the most notable change has been the amount of ‘faces’ that have given us their backing with stars like Les Ferdinand, Aaron Hughes, Charlie Austin, Leroy Rosenior and Tony Gale to name just five getting on board. In order to make the most of the day, many sides in west London are running all kinds of promotions to try and get you involved. Although they currently play at Woking, Hayes & Yeading United host Chelmsford City in a Conference South fixture. If you’re a season-ticket holder at any club other than the two involved, you can get in to see Phil Babb’s charges for a reduced rate of £8. In the Ryman League Premier Division, Hampton & Richmond Borough entertain Maidstone United. The visitors are by far the biggest club in the league in terms of support so the crowd should be sizeable. The Beveree is also regularly cited by fans as being one of the best non-League grounds around. Once again you can gain reduced entry (£5) if you’re a season-ticket holder of another club, whilst it’s also completely free for anyone under 16. To top it all, this match has been specially selected by anti-discrimination charity Kick It Out for some special events to mark its 20th anniversary. Elsewhere in the division, Harrow Borough take on Dulwich Hamlet. QPR fans might have a particular interest in this one as Dave Anderson’s side signed former R’s striker Leroy Griffiths in the summer. They too are offering entry for only £5 to season-ticket holders of other clubs, whose members are included in the deal as well. Unaccompanied under-16s get in for £1 while those with a paying adult get in for free. If none of these games are close to you there are plenty of others around London and all over the country. Use the match-finder map on our website to help you find the one that’s best for you. www.westlondonsport.com/features-comment/non-league-day-your-chance-to-support-our-areas-clubs

I may go to Needham Market today, though would much rather be at Chesham - Truro.
For all of you in the Chilterns get down to The Meadow. The last four games have been won & are up to third in the Southern League with the horrible lot from HH just above!
Admission today is free for under 16's & pay what you like for adults, but with a £3 minimum.
COME ON CHESH

Wealdstone won 1-0 but it could have been by four.
Stefan Bailey, Glen Little & Scott McLeish were in their side & they look capable of winning their league this season. It isn't often that Bury are totally outclassed.
There must have been well over 100 Stones fan at the game.
More importantly, Chesham won 4-2. Hope for wins from both my teams next saturday!

Popped round to Walton & Hersham, contrary to a local wag, they were away. We then made our way to Walton Casuals, they won 3-2. Didn't see much as my mate runs the bar.
