This is brilliant, I remember it so well!
Bushman, I'm sure that in your collection you have the wonderful articles that were in the programs "A funny thing happened to me on the way to the Bush".
I'm sure I wouldn't think the same now, but the first article in that series (I think it was the first!) was the best I have ever seen in any program

Nice one Andy,Wouldn't it be good to get his perspective on Rangers nowadays. I think we will have a long wait, as unless i am mistaken i am not sure he is that interested in football anymore, more's the shame. Cheers, Jay

Cheers, Jay It would be nice Jay if old names from the old days like Michael Wale would give there views on modern footy, also i wonder what happened to all the other people from the programmes, like Dennis Signy, Ron Phillips, Derek Buxton and Tony Pullen, imagine Ron Phillips wrighting a book that would be some read, its funny how people go off footy, i remember working with a fellow who said to me he used to support the r's, used to i said, he grew up in shepherds bush in the 60's and 70's, rangers we're his team, he said he stopped going and didnt even know what division we were in, done my head in how you can just turn ya back and say enough for me.

Sad to hear of Dereck Buxton's death i used to love his stats, if he was treated shabilly by the club then that is sad to hear as well, but it isn't the first time the club have treated an employee with a lack of respect, Ron Phillips great to hear he is still about bet he has many a tale to tell, and Dennis Signy didnt know he was working at Barnet good stuff.

Ron too wasn't exactly well rewarded for such long service at the club...along with Sheila Marson. Perhaps next season the club should have a "former employee" reunion at a match so long servants of the club can be appreciated. of course that would happen after the club starts to recognise QPR players of the past. The teams of the 60's, 70's, 80's etc. Certain legends.
