No Gino Padula Today

I thought I'd have the opportunity to see Gino Padula tonight, playing for Columbus Crew against DC United (in DC), in the start of the 2011 MLS Season...

Then checking, I found out, Padula was released by Columbus Crew
(Not sure yet where, if anywhere, he went)

Looks like he has his problems. Started his career in Argentina, moved to the UK, France and then USA. A drifter.!!
At QPR he was a crowd favourite but left club by mutual consent.??

Gets taken up by Columbus Crew, and is honoured as Best Signed Player 2008-2009. Now the club decide not to extend his contract.

yeah shame that mac, what was the issue with his contract? are there any other ex rangers or players that have played over here in the mls?

The contract: Well let's put it this way...I believe Gianni admitted he made a mistake - But the rest of the board said the club as a whole, not him personally, would assume financial responsibility.
