QPR Official Site HEWITT: 'A FANTASTIC CHALLENGE' Posted on: Wed 16 Mar 2011 Troy Hewitt has spoken of his delight at making the move from Non-league Harrow Borough to the npower Championship with Queens Park Rangers. The 21 year-old hot-shot finally put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal on Monday afternoon, after impressing whilst on trial with Neil Warnock's men. Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Hewitt revealed how well he's settled into life as a full-time professional footballer. "It's a very welcome experience," he said. "Everyone at the Club has been great with me and have really helped me settle in. "There's a great mix of youth and experience in the squad and everyone has been really welcoming." Hewitt is fully aware of the challenge that lies ahead, but he's happy bide his time, with the R's currently flying high at the summit of the npower Championship. "I'm just looking forward to the challenge of getting into the squad, first and foremost," he said. "I travelled with the First Team to Middlesbrough a few weeks ago and enjoyed the experience. Reading that's made me come up with a possible delay in his signing- part-time before and had to serve out his notice on his job???
