Business owners use the term "tidying up" to mean to either reduce payroll, or outsource, or increase prices or whatever they can do to increase profitability. Eliminate departments that are not profitable.

thing is i was not trying to be ITK i do not care about that kind of shite i leave that to others whose egos need a walk now and again Difference is i was told something from someone who know BE and also has no interest in the club, anyway i have and always will pass on things when i can. I as i said on Indyrs have no idea why Isleworth and pete took the hand out of me that is up too them as pete gets most of his info from Gianni and the press office of QPR i guess he knew so why him and Isleworth went on the war path on it was weird,
Anyway my mates trusted me and thats all that matters. But thanks to those on here who trusted met,

My thoughts this morning re:reinforcements, have led me to remember an interview with Eccles talking about him nearly buying Chelsea pre Abramovich, where he "joked" about how they'll be "glad he didn't cos he was famously tight". I would say to him the time is now and we'll never have a a better chance, so please give Mr Warnock what he wants and needs ! 3 gooduns!

Yes, your comments on WATRB in relation to Paul's 'news' did come across, at least to me, as a little bit dismissive and snide. But you and Paul have history, so that's always going to be the case isn't it. As for causing disharmony on messageboards or spreading second/third hand muck around forums, you are one of the masters in that, so I take your comments seriously (and yes, I am taking the piss)!

Strange as I though Finney had no need for a mouthpiece but again a shame that you also have to drag arguments and spats from elsewhere on this site Somebody looking in would think there was a concerted effort to keep all the antagonism alive and kicking when for the most part the majority have put it all to bed and are looking to the future and not the past Meery Christmas to you by the way and heres to promotion in 2011

Anyway I think its all gone round in circles now and I am sure nobody wants to read all this rubbish so I will again just concentrate on football matters on here

Paul you sat in a committee with me for years i am my own person no one will ever tell me what to post. I was on the committee with you and i came out and said that Bill Power and the board where wrong on the season ticket hike you said feck all and you were at that meeting and you said nothing, So do not come on here and try and make out i am something i am not.
The only person who tryed to offer me anything free at QPR was Paladini and i said no thanks. A free mind is not for sale

A free mind is not for sale Paul I know its the Christmas season but you really are excelling with the crackers you are coming out with lately I am sure you have the minutes from the particular meeting you are on about to back up your claim or is just a case of keep throwing mud and hoping that some will stick For clarification though before I see if I have the minutes somewhere to prove you wrong are you stating that it was only you that was against the season ticket price increases at the time and the rest of the committee including me were happy to pay extra? Someone once said to me that if Paul Finney tells you it is sunny outside then be sure to take an umbrella as some of what you come out with is just laughable and hence why I don't get wound up by you despite your best efforts both on here and your own site where I of course have no right of reply

All posters are welcome here, this is where we discuss QPR and football related stuff. Obviously things that have gone on in the past have more meaning for some than the majority of posters on here I believe, so in my opinion, these are best kept off the board. At least it's remained relatively civil and opinions are always welcome, the past can also be very interesting to read about, as this site proves on an almost daily basis. However, personal issues can remain away from the site please guys.
i am not taking anyone's side here as I know nothing of the "issues" that surround the background.
Keep on posting chaps, the occassional swerve is always welcome anyway but "keep it clean" as it were. ;D

I'm not sure what meeting Finney is referring to. What I can categorically say is that BP and I met with members of the LSA committee (cannot remember exactly who was in attendance from the LSA) when we announced the increase in prices, and it is fair to say that Finney, and Steve Russell, expressed their disagreement both at the meeting and in private later. In fact, Finney and I had quite a heated discussion about the prices and the reasons behind the decision. IIRC the only other direct communication I received, expressing dissatisfaction at the decision, was from Tracy Stent.

To be fair though and I admire the fact that both Paul and Steve expressed their disagreement on the increased prices it surely cannot be claimed with any credibility that I and other members of the LSA Committee at the time did not also show our dissatisfaction regarding the new prices

Ok last post Paul please read what i said you said i was a mouthpiece i was saying i was no ones mouth piece and yes many on the committee did not agree and spoke out my point was i did it in private on the message boards and at the meetings with the club Paul we know each other well enough and i know that the person you try and make me out to be is not me.
One thing i am not is a liar no idea why you say that but i guess it is too dismiss me as some kind of fool of which i am not. You sat on a committee with me you know that i will argue my case and then if wrong move on.
I have and will always tell the truth why i said pm was not to get in a bitch fight on this site more than happy for you to flag up any untruths i have in youre mind said. Also i hope you have a good holiday and as i say more than happy to debate no need for any of it to get nasty.

I'm sure others did express their concern, but as I mentioned, I cannot recall whom exactly from the LSA was at the meeting to which I referred. But I do remember that Finney and Steve also got in touch privately, and my conversation with Paul was particularly 'intense'.

Paul if you read my initial post more carefully you will see that I stated that I did not think you needed a mouthpiece to speak for you as I have always believed you more then capable of speaking for yourself I suggest we call a truce on the matter before either of us posts something we really regrets and so I will take this chance to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy,Healthy and Prosperous New Year

I expressed my dissatisfaction with the hike. I paid for six season tickets at the time, I wore the rise for one season then decided against continuing to do so.
It was the only way I knew how to put my point across at the time. I know quite a few who did precisely the same so the rise was self defeating in my opinion.

There were a number of people who were dissatified with the decision, and made their feelings known on messageboards, forums etc, no disputing that. There were also several reasons why the decision was taken, but it's 4/5 years ago now, lets leave it in the past as that wasn't really the point of these last few posts.

I think the conversation between finney and isleworth obviously had history attched to it and what could have very easily been bad feelings. So credit to you both for not allowing it go over the top and end up as just in loads of abuse.

finney, why are your posts showing up as guest? What's going on. On other sites the guest staus usually means a poster has either been banned or deleted his or her account and I sincerely hope neither has happened with Paul Yes we scrap like cat and dog on occasions but the bottom line is we are both passionate QPR fans

Its true we all like a scrap on he old messageboards from time to time, But Finney aka Binlid is one of the best posters on this board, very passionate & genuine & not afraid to have a scrap!
Lets bring him back right now no arguments!
