Young gun Parrett poised for Spurs bow in Ukraine By Tom Collomosse Last updated at 10:05 AM on 18th February Tottenham youngster Dean Parrett is poised to make a surprise debut against Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow. The 17-year-old midfielder, who was signed from Queens Park Rangers for £1million in January 2007 when he was only 15, has been training with the first team since the arrival of manager Harry Redknapp last October. Parrett featured in the squad for Spurs' last UEFA Cup game, a 2-2 draw with Spartak Moscow in December, but he was left on the bench after Redknapp's side went 2-0 down early on in the match. But the youngster will travel to Ukraine for the first leg of the last-32 tie. Croatian playmaker Luka Modric, however, is likely to be left out of the squad after picking up a knock in training. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1148623/Young-gun-Parrett-poised-Spurs-bow-Ukraine.html
