My posting colleague, Isleworthranger reports on WATRB that he's heard that Ali Russell has departed the club.
(I would link but because of my WATRB ban, I'm unfortunately not able to)
I just hope that Isleworthranger hasn't wrecked the childish "I Know Something But will just throw out hints to attract hits" games played by some others

while I suspect it is portentous, it always struck me that he was the hod carrier not the architect......or maybe he's just got another job

Thanks jondoeman (It's of course almost a "Catch 22" situation! I assume your link is the one I wanted, but since I can't view it...!)
As for Russell: Well has to be confirmed; will be interesting if it's an "exit from" or a "departure to" - and of course, who his replacement will be, etc. And whether any other changes: Saksena/Gianni?

Chemical Ally - he always struck as being the official spin doctor for the Flabman and the Former Two Bit Agent, with zero power whatsoever. He sure spouted a lot of rubbish though.
If the stories are true then it is no real loss in my opinion.

I heard about a month ago he was looking at another job elsewhere, so sorry, it might have now happened but the rumour machine was in gear back them. So much for ITK.

Although he is not going to be missed, from a business perspective I can fully understand his policies that he implemented. He is viewed by many qpr fans as satan although he was likely to be acting on orders from above. Its amazing that some superfans are on about partying over his departure when there is one person in particular who is accountable for more f-ups then frank spencer that is deemed an angel..... all aboard the bisto express

Whether he left out of his own volition or was told to go is immaterial to me.
What is a fact is during his time here attendances haven't improved and 13,500 at home for a team that's top or thereabouts all season is a fitting indication of his time here.

Post by Macmoish on Nov 21, 2010 11:31:23 GMT
But is that his fault?
Not clear at least to me, exactly what he did. How much decisions were his. Board involvement/approval, etc.
Is it going to be a restructuring or just a new man/woman in this same job
Anyway presume there will be a brief statement on the Official Site very shortly (Push refresh!)

Thats an important point, surely the club should be finding out why the official attendences are still so low?? I mean, what else does the team have to do before more show up? I think there are other reasons and pricing would be a major one. Mum, dad and the kids to a football match is a very expensive adventure for middle/low income or un-employed/retired

Don't give a shyte about Comical Ali, about as successful here as he was in jockland.
Could be a decent bit of wdge saved in salary though.
Unless Karen Brady replaces him of course!

I think Karen Brady is actually Karren Brady CPR! Interesting tomorrow to see if we are told on official that it was mutual consent !!!!!!! Or maybe told nothing like Bernies shares , Rowan at Pompey and the rest recently ! Mrs Brady at Loftus road ! That would be high profile appointment ! Who would be her apprentice!

Unlike Ecclestone, I imagine club will announce. Because this is a staff position.

Prices would help getting people back. He is also to blame for such idiotic pricing, alienating fans and being a complete zoyne in general. Wouldn't be sad to see him go unless they got an even bigger zoyne to replace him.

But surely anything that was done was done with the authorization and approval of the QPR Board of Directors: Briatore, Ecclestone, Bhatia and maybe Aggag and then Saksena and even maybe Paladini (or maybe not). For all we know (for all I know) some things were handed down to Russell rather than just approved by those above him

However Ali is most definately above reproach!
