QPR Under 18s extended their 100 per cent record this season to 12 matches with Saturday's 1-0 win over Brentford at Harlington.
Mo Sharif grabbed the only goal of the game ten minutes into the second half to keep the R's top of the Youth Alliance South East Conference.
Rangers started much the brighter side and could have taken the lead on 20 minutes when Bees keeper Jack Middleton miss-cued his clearance into the path of Bagasan Graham. However, the R's striker saw his shot come back off the post.
Later in the half Middleton pulled off a wonder-save to deny Sharif but after the break, the R's deservedly took the lead.
Tony Sanderson picked out Sharif with a beautiful diagonal pass, and the R's forward cut in from the right onto his left foot before unleashing a sensational strike which flew into the back of the net.
In the final ten minutes, the visitors threw bodies forward in search of an equaliser but Gareth Deane in the QPR goal and his defenders held firm to seal victory.
Following the match, Steve Gallen told http://www.qpr.co.uk: "It was a very good performance. We started very brightly and the first half was mostly us, but we just weren't clinical enough.
"We carried on after the break, and Mo got his goal after a sustained period of pressure from us.
"But all credit to Brentford. They gave it a real go, and I was impressed by the way they went at us in the closing ten minutes.
"I actually said to my lads after the game that if we find ourselves behind in a match, I want us to show the same commitment and attitude that Brentford showed.
"We definitely deserved to win the game though. And I have to give special credit to Marcel Henry-Francis, who worked his socks off for us.
"He nearly opened the scoring in the first half, but their keeper pulled off a good save to deny him.
"And Gareth in goal and the defence deserve enormous credit too. They have kept three clean sheets in their last four games, and I was really impressed by them."
The Under 18s host Luton in the league this Saturday. The match takes place at Harlington Sports Ground, Sipson Lane, Harlington, UB3 5AQ, kicking off at 10.45am.
