WYCOMBE could be lining up a move for QPR teenage wonderkid Antonio German.

The 18-year-old striker has made three substitute appearance's for Neil Warnock's Championship leaders this season and has been told he is allowed to go out on loan.

Wanderers boss Gary Waddock took the frontman on loan at former club Aldershot a month before he left to take up the helm at Adams Park.

And he is believed to have shown an interest in taking the youngster on loan again but Warnock would rather German earn some League One experience.

Wycombe have four fit strikers – Ben Strevens, Scott Rendell, Stuart Beavon and Matt McClure – but all have struggled for goals this season.

Strevens and McClure are yet to net while Beavon has recently returned from a broken leg and has one goal.

Rendell has fallen out of first-team favour after scoring just two penalties since his summer move from Peterborough.

QPR striker Antonio German's loan move back on

ANTONIO German will finally be allowed to leave Loftus Road on loan after QPR's striker shortage appears to be over.

Neil Warnock wanted to send the 18-year-old out last month in a bid to gain some first-team football, but injuries to Leon Clarke and Rob Hulse delayed any move.

German spent four months on loan at Aldershot last season. So far this campaign, he has made just three sub appearances for Rangers, but none since August.

Warnock said: “I couldn't let him go until now because we've not had everybody fit, but now Leon Clarke's fit, Tommy Smith's here and Rob Hulse will be fit next week, then we will have a choice and it would be a good time for Antonio to go out and play five or six games.

“One or two League One clubs have made enquiries and one or two League Two clubs definitely want him, but I want to try and get him a bit higher than that if I can."
