NON-LEAGUE DAY SCHEME EXTENDED

Following the success of Non-League Day, Hayes & Yeading United have decided to extend the half price admission invitation to current season ticket holders of any Barclays Premier, nPower League or Blue Square Bet League side, with the exception of the given days opposition.

This offer is available on production of your season ticket until further notice.

When I went to a lot of non-league clubs last season an awful lot of them did similar things. Good thinking by the clubs.

Another inventive way of raising cash is the 50/50 draw where you pay a quid and half the cash goes to the club and half to a lucky winner. That could be an extra £5k a match if we introduced that. It could go on the youth team/training which would please the majority of fans I would have thought and someone gets £5k to go home with!

I think I am right that Everton still run what is effectively this scheme.

We used to do similar years back as I recall.
