When I went to a lot of non-league clubs last season an awful lot of them did similar things. Good thinking by the clubs.
Another inventive way of raising cash is the 50/50 draw where you pay a quid and half the cash goes to the club and half to a lucky winner. That could be an extra £5k a match if we introduced that. It could go on the youth team/training which would please the majority of fans I would have thought and someone gets £5k to go home with!

If 10k buy a ticket every game that would be £105,000 over a season without cup games.

I think I am right that Everton still run what is effectively this scheme.
We used to do similar years back as I recall.
