1987 - there's a bad memory. Rootbear Finney seems to have been supporting this club ever since time began. Hard to think he's only about 41. He reminds me of Vic Gibbons (First game was 1946).

How about Palace? I saw him play for Palace right after he joined vs QPR (at least that's my memory!) I actually don't have a problem with Brentford - It's been over 40+ years

I quite like Brentford.
They're alright for a little team.
Don't mind them at all.

Well good luck, Mr. Rootbeer. Maybe you could get an intern who'd transcribe these various QPR- broadcasts. I'm sure there would be a lot of people who would be interested Meanwhile I saw one of your last guests alluding to a future joint effort which sounded like a coming joint QPR broadcasting venture.

Good to see my fears that Brian was a biased host and was helping out Pete have been put to bed. Brian do you also feel as Pete quoted that he feels so strong about that if people do not get to Qpr games and don't see the games they can not talk about QPR?

But you may find that with any such association, you will be permanently turning off - and turning away - an awful lot of QPR Fans. And judging from what fans on other sites have implied, it would not be the brightest idea. Not that any site is jealous, just fedup up with the Uber Fan and his rightious and ungracious attitude - very good at playing the innocent victim - just like cry wolf

Bumpy...Tomorrow time to think of some questions:
"Mark: After you won the cup in1968, how gutted were you and the rest of the boys to find out that QPR had been banned from Europe? And do you think it was a blessing in disguise as didn't distract from second successive promotion bid?" - And a follow up: Did ANYONE at QPR believe QPR would challenge for a second successive promotion race?
And how did you feel when QPR sold you to Orient halfway through the 1967/68 season?
And a more general question: As a Jew - Did you ever experience anti-Semitism either from team mates either at QPR or elsewhere; from players from opposing teams? From Managers or Board? Or from other Fans? And if so, did you ever respond? -
